Overview: The Parrot SK4000 is a full-featured
Bluetooth hands-free kit designed expressly
for motorcycles. The Parrot SK4000 allows you to make and take calls from your
Bluetooth enabled mobile-phone, listen to FM radio, or play your favorite
digital music from your Bluetooth enabled digital audio player, all while riding
your motorcycle. Completely wireless, the SK4000 fits on your helmet and
motorcycle's handlebars while automatically linking to a
Bluetooth enabled cell phone in your pocket
or saddlebags.

distance radio link. It connects a wide range of electronic equipment without
requiring additional cables. It extends the communication possibilities for cell
phones and a large number of devices. The
Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) profile uses the same frequencies and can be used
to send music tracks from one device to another. Bluetooth wireless technology
offers a range of 33 feet (10 meters). The Parrot SK4000 supports the following
Bluetooth v2.0 profiles.
- HFP (Hands-Free Profile)
- HSP Headset Profile)
- A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)
- AVRCP (Advanced Video Remote Control Profile)
- OPP (Object Push Profile)
- PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile)

omni-directional microphone with built-in wind-guard is mounted on a flexible
coupling designed to fit most any helmet size and configuration. The headset

fasteners. The Helmet Microphone and Speaker assembly also features integrated
controls including 4 buttons (answer, hang up, volume up/down). The SK4000 kit
can be fitted to your motorcycle helmet in minutes.
Note: Even though the SK4000 features stereo speakers, you should
set the unit to Mono mode while driving.
Handlebar RF Remote: The Parrot SK4000 features an innovative wireless
RF remote control that mounts on your motorcycle's handlebars. All phone and
music functions can be accessed intuitively so you can keep your hands on the
handlebars and eyes on the road for maximum control. And, the controls are large
enough to be easily used when wearing gloves. The RF remote features 5 buttons
(answer, hang up, select audio source, browse menus, radio search, next, back,
stop). The RF remote is powered by a 3V CR2025 Lithium battery (included).

and voice synthesis (text-to-speech). To access your phonebook and make a call,
simply press the green button to start the user-independent voice recognition.
The SK4000 recognize your voice and the name you are saying without any prior
teaching process. When you speak the name or the contact you want to dial, the
call is automatically dialed (your phone must also support this feature).
Note: In a case where the SK4000 does not recognize a name from
your Phonebook, you can manually add voice-tags.
Phonebook: The SK4000 allows you to upload your phonebook from your
Bluetooth enabled phone. Each time you add a contact name, the SK4000
automatically synchronizes your cell phonebook. You can use the handlebar remote
to browse your phonebook. While you browse the phonebook, its listings will be
spoken to you out loud through your vehicle's speakers. The SK4000 can support
up to 8,000 total contacts (6 phone numbers for each contact).
Wireless Music: In addition to hands-free calling, you can listen to
FM/RDS radio using its built-in tuner, or stream digital music from your
Bluetooth A2DP-enabled cell phone or digital
music player. The SK4000 also features a mini-USB type-B input which can be used
to connect any portable audio device using the included mini-USB to 3.5mm male
connector cable. The SK4000 also boasts two sound effects: Stereo Widening and
Virtual Super Bass, to bring your playlist alive.
Automatic Volume Adjustment: The volume of the SK4000 adjusts
automatically to compensate for road and wind noise as you ride so your phone
calls, music and your favorite ball game or motorsports events are crystal
clear.

provides up to ten hours of use and recharges via a mini-USB jack using the
