Wall-mount your TV
Secure customer-provided mounting bracket to wall, mount flat-panel display screen, and connect TV to preexisting AC power supply. |
Hide A/V cables in walls (if possible) Conceal customer-provided audio/video cables in standard frame wall, from video source to the flat-panel screen, up to 15 feet. May conceal with installer-provided track molding, if necessary. |
Connect A/V components
Installation of new A/V equipment in one room and, if available, set-top tuner. Neatly dress all wires with wire ties. Surface-route customer-provided A/V cables from video source up to 15 feet to TV. |
Place & connect speakers
Place and connect speakers and subwoofer, running wire along baseboard or molding. Neatly dress wires with wire ties. |
Mount & connect on-wall speakers
Mount speakers on wall or ceiling with customer-provided mounting brackets. |
Run speaker wire in walls (if possible)
Connect and group all wires, and conceal speaker wires in walls, ceiling, or using wire management system. Finish off wall-fished cables with bushing or wall plate. |
