Well, after spending some time trying to make this work, I gave up and it turns out that the stock 2006 Ford Mustang antenna cable plugs right into the back of the Pioneer head unit no problem and sounds fine. So I didn't need this at all. But, it was free with purchase, so.... Who cares?
