The Lowepro 5.0 Navi Dash takes care of your portable GPS mounting, storage, and protection needs with one convenient case, and keeps you legal when you're in an area that prohibits windshield-mounted devices. To use your 5" portable navigator in the car, simply unfold the Navi Dash and lay it flat on your dashboard — the case's weighted base and non-slip silicone rubber face keeps it in place on most dry surfaces without any suction cups or messy adhesives. Slide your 5" navigator into the secure nylon pouch and you're ready to go. It even offers two access points for cords so you can keep your navigator charged as you drive.

When you're ready to store or transfer your navigator, the Navi Dash folds up into a streamlined carrier. The case's neoprene body provides cushioning to protect your device from bumps and drops, and it closes up tight to prevent accidental loss. Your navigator will rest safely in the 5.0 Navi Dash as you store it in your car's console or glove compartment for future use.

    Overview: The Lowepro 5.0 Navi Dash is a combination mount and storage case for 5" portable navigation units. It is made of neoprene with a non-slip, molded silicone base.

    Note: Fit will vary depending on manufacture and model of your portable navigation unit.

    Design: The 5.0 Navi Dash has a weighted, non-slip silicone rubber base that clings to most dashboards. This is especially handy for mounting your GPS unit in areas where windshield mounts are prohibited. There are two ports that allow you to run the power cord from the device to the power source from either the side or bottom.

    I like the fact it is not attached forever and can be moved to another car or place in the car very easy and without leaving any marks. It is holding very well on the dashboard. But unfortunatelly is not fitting well to hold Magellan 5045 LM. I believe that it may be good for Garmin. There is no opening for the cable in right place and it is very dificullt to keep it connected, the cable is disconnecting on any slight bump. It is also difficult to use the buttons to operate GPS because they covered by this "framing". Overall it is not performing as I would like. If I knew it does not fit Magellan I wouldn't buy it. When you buy Magellan this product is shown as one of the associated accesories, so you don't think it may not fit.
