Our take on the Techcraft SF50

by Ralph Graves

The space-efficient SF50 audio rack from Techcraft gives your components a stylish, solid home. This cabinet features a sculpted base and top, and a smoked tempered glass door. Five sturdy shelves hold your gear; two can be adjusted to accommodate taller components.

Recessed casters make it easy to move the rack out from the wall, and a removable cloth back panel lets you access your gear to connect wires. Channels in the back of the shelves allow cable connections between components.

    Techcraft SF50

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Okay build quality on the rack with terrible casters. Two of the casters broke while I was moving the empty cabinet.

The caster posts are pressed into the mounts so there is no way these casters would ever be stable. Definitely think twice before trusting your audio equipment to these 2 cent parts.

    Almost completely happy.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was very happy with the ease this cabinet went together but the cover for the back is
a joke. I went out and bought a piece of cloth for the cover. Not a big deal but why the
mfg would not spend the extra couple of dollars and get it a 10 out of a 10 is beyond me.
What you are suppose to use is a piece of white foam that would take away from the
cabinet which is otherwise a great looking piece. But it was easy to put together and
didn't take a lot of time. About 2 1/2 hours.

Nice cabinet but the caster's are poor quality, two out of the four broke in half the first time I rolled the cabinet into place. I replaced them with a better set.
