These dropped right into my 88 325i convertible. Crisped up the highs and mid perfectly. Wasn't looking for bass as I have a sub system in the trunk. No disappointment for me.

Great upgrade for stock head unit

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Replaced stock 2005 Jeep Wrangler speakers with these, used adapter plates for front to increase size from stock 4x6. Sounds better than when Jeep was new. Clear highs and great midrange in roll bar pods.

Pros:

Direct fit, great sound for lower powered head unit. Crutchfield provided free harness adapters so no cutting was required. True plug & play.

Although Crutchfield lists this as fitting the rear doors of my 2005 Trailblazer they are too small. I modified with stuff I had in the garage. No too happy with the sound either. The factory 8 ohm speakers are much better sounding. I ended up adding a second set to the 3rd row of seats. They do deliver more highs than the stock one too but the EQ balanced that out.
