Features

Woofers: The JL Audio Evolution TR650-CSi component speakers feature 6-3/4" injection-molded, mica-filled polypropylene cone woofers with 1" voice coils and flat-profile, symmetrical-roll spiders. The woofers feature long excursion and enhanced low-frequency extension for power, more realistic bass. The woofers use butyl rubber surrounds for reliability and strength.

Tweeters: The TR650-CSi has 1/2" textile dome tweeters with integral phase plugs and powerful, ferro-fluid cooled and damped neodymium magnets. You can mount the tweeters in the supplied flush-mount or surface-mount fixtures. The tweeters do not swivel or angle in the flush-mount or surface-mount fixtures.

Tweeter Mounting Dimensions:

Crossovers: The TR650-CSi components use electrolytic capacitors on the in-line 1st order high-pass filters. The woofer is unfiltered, using its engineered smooth roll-off characteristics to blend with its tweeter. The Polyswitch electronic tweeter protection circuit is designed to minimize the possibility of tweeter failure. It monitors current going to the tweeter and will disconnect the tweeter from the signal when it senses overload. Once the volume has been reduced, the protection circuit will reset itself automatically.

Grilles: Two black metal mesh grilles and black ABS plastic grille frames are included with the speakers.
