Switch between your calls and your music with ease

The three-button in-line remote lets you control your favorite Apple® device while on the go. You can adjust your music's volume, and pause, play, or skip through your songs. Plus, a built-in microphone lets you answer and end calls on your iPhone®, and provides voice control with select iPod and iPad models.

Comfort and convenience

The headphone's silicone ear tips naturally help block out noise, and come in four different sizes for a perfect fit. An angled, in-ear design is made to match the ear's natural shape for better comfort and more focused sound. i6 Sound Engine: Amps HDs are equipped with the high-performance i6 Sound Engine for "high-definition" sound. This provides you with deeper bass and higher clarity for excellent sound quality.

StayFit: The ear buds are angled to fit perfectly in the ear canal. This StayFit design means the Amps won't fall out.

Ear Tips for Life: Should you lose your ear tips, Sol Republic's Ear Tips For Life program guarantees you'll never be without. Just contact the company and they will send you more--no questions asked.

In-Line Remote: Amps HD features an in-line remote and microphone to let you control your phone calls and your music. The 3-button remote has a volume control, as well as buttons for selecting music and answering/hanging up your phone calls. It is compatible with iPod, iPhone, and iPad for volume, play/pause, and next/previous track. The high clarity ClearTalk microphone makes sure your calls are clearly heard by the other party. The in-line 3-button remote/microphone is compatible with the following devices (as of August 2012):

Sound was a little to bright on the upper scale but overall the sol republic amps hd was very pleasant sound to listed to for a period of time. I had bose and dr dre earphones in the past, these are the best.

I bought this in-ear for sports use and it has not worked out for me so far. For the price I expected more. The ear inserts do not stay in my ear for sports use (all four sizes). I worked around this and just used a beanie to hold the headphones while I jog, not something I wanted to do...but it'll do... The sound quality is not that impressive compared to the Klipsch S4i. I would just buy the Klipsch S4i again..

Pros:

-Flat wire keeping wires from tangling. -Good overall design and quality

Cons:

-All four ear inserts do not fit my ears. -Sound is not that great for the price

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these based on a sales consultant's recommendation about how great they were supposed to be. I tried all four tips that were provided but could not get the ear buds to stay in my ear. When I called SOL customer service their only suggestion was to by their earphones that fully cup the ear. I was also told that I wasn't the first one to call about the same issue. It's really hard to tell what the sound quality is like since I never got the right fit. I'm sure that has everything to do with the audio quality. I'm exceptionally pleased with Crutchfield's customer service and their no hassle willingness to accept a return within 60 days. I'm opting for that and have purchased Klipsch S4i II in ear headphones. They're incredibly great. I'm so pleased with my purchase.

Pros:

Exceptional customer service from Crutchfield. The design of the flat wire that truly does keep it from getting tangled.

Cons:

The design of the in ear bud that didn't stay in my ear no matter what tip I chose. The sound quality was not impressive at all for the price.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These are some spectacular sounding earbuds, in my own opinion. I'm not saying they are the best in the world, but to me ... they're pretty close. They have THE MOST bass of any headphones I have tried and they have a superior fit over the Klipsh, Bose, Beats, and Etymotics. Yes I've tried them all while looking for these. Best Buy is probably tired of me returning them daily! When I say most bass I don't mean it's overwhelming and muffles the other sound...it's there when it's supposed to be. The Headphones have a very unique look to them and I don't mind that. Sometimes people will talk to you because they can't tell you've got buds in, but not with these! Great headphones, and as usual great help and service from Crutchfield.

Pros:

FULL sound, ample bass, great fit without having to shove them in your ears, work great if looped over ear during workout. Love the flat cable! Solid fit and finish. good angled design on the plug.

Cons:

If I have to list a 'con' it would be that the cord can be a bit noisy when running.
