Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular - see "Accessories."

Features

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

Bought the product was a bit skeptical about it, got it sooner than i was told thanks to crutchfield....it took me about 5 mins to install aftermarket speakers, the clip fit right in place without even having to force it. Oh in-case i can be of any help to anyone i have a 2011 Dodge Charger.

These were a perfect fit for the dash speaker harness in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Totally plug and play both at the vehicle harness and the new speakers. Both adapters were labeled as "Left Front," which gave me a chuckle but had no effect on the installation or quality. Both the plug and the spade terminals were solidly connected to the wiring and should last for years to come.

The only improvement I'd make is to offer a version of these with spade connectors pre-installed on the positive lead. After popping in my new speakers, I definitely want to add bass blockers, and it would be a dream if I could go plug and play for those too.

I USED THESE FOR THE FRONT DASH SPEAKERS OF A CHRYSLER 2012 MINIVAN. GREAT WHEN YOUR CHANGING TO AFTERMARKET SPEAKERS.

PERFECT AND MAKES IT SO EASY. DON'T SEE WHY YOU WOULD SOLDER OVER THE EASE OF USING THESE. THEY HELP GIVE LENGTH TO THE WIRES ALSO TO MAKE WORKING ON THEM EASIER.

Fit Perfectly on my 2011 Ram (Non Alpine) Crew Cab 1500 dash speakers, Also bought JL Audio 3.5 inch C2-350x speakers which fit Perfectly. Brought out the Mids and Highs My stock speakers could not do. The total install time was about 10 minutes and I was being very careful not to scratch anything.

Plugs work on both ends to the Factory Harness and the new Speaker terminals. No wiring alterations.

Installed these with some Boston S35 3.5" speakers in the dash of my 2008 Grand Cherokee. Worked great and installed with no problems. Not sure what others are saying about them not fitting, they worked just fine for me with no modifications.

I had to modify the connectors for this harness to get them to fit on our 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not a lot of work, but not what I expected from the typical Crutchfield installation kit.

Crutchfield claims that this harness fits Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles for small (3.5 inch) dash speakers. They do not fit!!! I should have been more suspicious considering it is listed as a Mazda item.

These didn't fit for plugging in. We also had to splice the ends of the adapters to the existing wires instead of plug them in. There is a plastic ridge on the base of the female plug which would not allow the flat base of the male plug to slide in.

Apparently these Mazda harnesses are suppose to work as a wiring adapter for the dash mounted 3 1/2" speakers in a 2006 Dodge Ram Sport 1500 4-door. Uuummm...they don't. I had to butt splice the ends of the adapters to the existing wires instead of plug them in. There is a plastic ridge on the base of the female plug which would not allow the flat base of the male plug to slide in.

In my application it gets a worst rating. In whatever application these fit, I am sure they work wonderfully as did the adapters for my door speakers. Plug and play!! Not these sadly.
