Got these speakers for my 2001 chevy silverado and am more than happy with them. they sound awesome and are more than what you're paying for I know alot of people say that but these speakers are the way to go. if you're looking for quality and crispness get these!

Installed these speakers a couple of weeks ago and so far they are awesome! Exactly the kind of performance you would expect from this brand. Also, Crutchfield support was great. The equipment included was exactly what I needed to make everything fit together seamlessly without to much trouble. Overall, this experience has been awesome. Will be coming back for an amp purchase soon.

I was a little nervous about this purchase being that I never purchased anything kicker always went with audio made by the big 4 alpine, sony, kenwood or pioneer . These speakers by far are the best sounding ones I ever installed .

Tough speaker ,looks like it can take a beating , price and sound quality

I was very surprised by the sound quality of these speakers. The bass is awesome, that's what shocked me the most. very good sound range. only have to turn the volume to 50% for the speakers to blast the sound. very clear and no distortion. kicker did a wonderful job when they designed these. I would highly recommend them.

if you want great bass then but these

Cons:

wish the treble and the high's were better but that's what the tweeters are for I guess.

The speakers themselves sound great and were a teriffic, yet affordable, upgrade from the standard speakers that came in my Toyota Prius. Installation proved slightly more difficult than the simple instructions Crutchfield provided. My husband was able to work it out but the speakers didn't come with the right connectors and we had to do the wiring the old fashioned way (this part wasn't difficult or hard even but the wiring harness provided by Cruchfield was wrong and therefor useless to us.) In addition, the speakers we removed were slighly larger than the these and these didn't come with a bracket. We couldn't simple make new holes as the speakers were smaller than the ones we were replacing so we handmade simple plexiglass brackets ourselves. All in all the speakers themselves are good quality, sound good and price is affordable, I just wish the installation as as simple as Crutchfield made it seem.

Good sound quality, affordable price

Cons:

Not as easy to install as advertised.

I recently sold my old car, an 06 Impala LTZ that comes with a Bose sound system. I was in heaven. I like cars, but the real, steady enjoyment I get out of them in riding fast down the highway, windows down, and music blaring. The sound in that car was incredible. From that car I moved on to a 98 chevy blazer with blown out speakers. My mood sank. I had never installed any after market items in a car before but I had to do something about that. I bought this pair of speakers because of the good reviews and price. I also bought a Kenmore stereo.

I couldn't be happier. The speakers sound great and installation was a breeze. Combined with the stereo, it gives me more options to fine tune the audio controls, so I get a great bass sound. I highly recommend.

Very good sounding speakers--they handle bass very well for their size and I'm happy with them for the price. The only thing I really didn't like about them were the speaker connections--so darn flimsy! I bent them more then once trying to connect them to the wires--I mean how much more would it cost to put sturdy connectors on it??? Not built at all like the old days! And let me tell you--I've been around the block! LOL!

Pros:

Handles bass very well for the size and costs!

Cons:

Flimsy wire connectors!

Quality speakers, reasonable price. Crutchfield advisor did a great job in recommending these speakers. They were an exact size replacement for the old stock speakers. The instructions were great in that they included how to remove the door panels step by step. Saved a lot of time trying to figure it out.

For the money, these were a perfect choice for the rear in my 2002 Chevy Avalanche. They are a great complement to my recently installed Kenwood components up front. They kick out surprisingly nice base- no you won't vibe someone a mile away. But for classic rock to country and today's top 40, they are enough.

Put them in the doors of my Miata. Popped right in after I drilled an extra hole.

I am pretty picky with my home audio equipment, so I consider my bar to be set pretty high. These speakers sound just fine. They are clean and can put out a lot of bass, very strong into the 40s. Most music plays just fine. You will only miss the lowest lows.

I am really happy with them; I don't need a subwoofer.

It took me less than an hour to pop these into the front doors of my GMC 2500 crew cab, I tested the drivers side before I started the passenger side and was imediately impressed. With both sides done the improvement over stock is amazing. I cant wait to get the rears done now!!

Not enough time to do rears/ they dont just install themselves.
