Revolutionary front-mount motor assembly
Most conventional shallow-mount subwoofers place a compact motor assembly at the back end of the woofer to save space. Diamond Audio saw the space in front of the woofer cone as an opportunity to use a bigger, more powerful motor assembly, allowing them to use a conventional cone and surround. As a result, these subs can deliver stronger performance than most shallow-mount subwoofers.
Woven carbon-fiber cone
Diamond Audio uses a unique pressurizing technique to create highly rigid, lightweight carbon fibers woven together to form an exceptionally responsive cone. The front-mount motor assembly leaves room for HEX subwoofers to employ a high-quality stabilizing spider and a deeper cone shape comparable to conventional-design subs, so this sub can push more air with more control, for heavier, more accurate lows.
Non-resonant aluminum basket
The cast aluminum basket gives this sub the stable foundation it needs to deliver faithful, uncolored bass. Diamond Audio's proprietary O2 casting technique creates a denser, less porous basket that virtually eliminates unwanted resonance, so your favorite music sounds just as the artist intended.
