Woofer
Woofer: The C 62C component system includes woofers made of
sisal fiber with durable rubber surrounds. The mechanical advantages of sisal,
rigidity and inner damping, result in faster transients and precise detail.
Magnet cover: The woofers are shipped with a rubber magnet
cover to protect the speaker. If the cover is removed the depth changes slightly:
- Top Mount Depth: 2.54"
- Bottom Mount Depth: 2.71"
Terminals: Each woofer has screw terminal inputs that will
accommodate bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.315" wide.
Size Classification Note: Crutchfield has traditionally
referred to this woofer size as a 6-3/4", while some manufacturers, including
Helix (Audiotec Fischer), call it a 6-1/2". Please refer to the Crutchfield
Vehicle Selector to confirm fit in your vehicle.
Tweeter
Tweeter: The system uses 1" silk dome tweeters with
neodymium motor structures and damped coupling (enclosure) volume. The flush
mount bracket is an integral part of the tweeter housing. Each tweeter has a
seven inch input wire attached. Speaker wire is not included with the speakers.

Crossover
Crossover: The crossover inputs and outputs are screw terminals
and will accommodate bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.315" wide. The tweeter
output level is adjustable by attaching the positive tweeter lead to one of three screw
terminals on the crossover, +2dB, 0dB, or -2dB. A jumper changes the woofers' expected
impedance from 4-ohms to 2-ohms, used when an optional second pair of C 6B woofers is
added (item number 975C6B, sold separately). No crossover frequency or slope information
was provided by the manufacturer.
