Note: You'll need an adapter to connect this to your car stereo — see "Accessories" or call us at 1-888-955-6000 to find the right adapter for your stereo.

The SiriusConnect SC-C1 universal tuner lets you receive Sirius Satellite Radio in your vehicle. You'll see channel, song, and artist information on your stereo's display, and you can save your favorite Sirius channels as presets. You'll also need to add the SiriusConnect adapter that's compatible with your factory or aftermarket stereo to control all of the tuner's functions.

The package includes a roof-mount antenna that attaches to your vehicle with its powerful magnetic base. The included removable metal mounting plate makes it easy to install the SC-C1 out of sight.

Note: A subscription to Sirius is also required. Satellite radio service is available only within the lower 48 states — not available in Hawaii or U.S. territories. Limited service is available in Alaska.

    Overview: The SIRIUS SC-C1 SiriusConnect Universal Vehicle tuner allows you to add SIRIUS Radio to a wide variety of aftermarket & OEM radios when combined with a SiriusConnect adapter (sold separately) to match your application.

    SIRIUS Satellite Radio: SIRIUS Satellite Radio features more than 120 streams of original programming beamed coast-to-coast, including 65 streams of commercial-free, digital-quality music, and news, talk, sports, entertainment, and children's programming.

    Note: Satellite radio service is available only within the continental United States. Service is not available in Alaska and Hawaii.

    Compatibility: The SC-C1 SiriusConnect Tuner is designed to work with many Sirius-Ready or Sat-Radio Ready head-units. Some head-units will require the use of a SiriusConnect Interface or adapter cable (sold separately). The SC-C1 can also be integrated in select factory audio systems.

    Connection: The SC-C1 uses a 5' SiriusConnect interface 8-pin DIN-cable that integrates power, audio and control through a single connection.

    Mounting: The SC-C1 comes supplied with a removable metal mounting plate with three pre-drilled holes on either side and four self-tapping mounting screws to secure the device to a solid, flat surface. The mounting plate can be removed allowing the unit to be mounted directly to a smooth, flat, clean surface using either double stick tape, Velcro or other adhesive material (not supplied).

    SIRIUS Antenna: The compact SIRIUS antenna has a powerful magnetic base that allows you to mount the antenna on the roof or trunk lid of your vehicle. The antenna needs to be positioned in such a way that it will be free of mechanical and line-of-sight obstructions. The attached antenna cable is 21' long. The antenna measures 1.605" wide x 0.505" tall x 2.005" deep.

    the install was straight forward, no issues there. my only complaint/issue is that for some reason when in sirius mode the volume has to be set higher than when in fm mode. a new headunit clarion cx501 was installed at the same time,

    I had an Authorized Audio store install the equipment that was sent to me. The next day after I had called and set up my account with Sirius the equipment quit working. I tookit back and the technician worked on it again and got it working. As soon as I was leaving the garage area it stopped working again. The technician looked at it again and this time couldn't get it working again. I told him to pull it out and I sent it back that day. Very UNHAPPY

    Average/below average sound quality with this unit. The satellite radio sounds like low bit rate digital on many stations. It does not sound as good as the built in XM in my other car radio.

    The unit is easy to install and use. The interface with the Clarion CZ401 is seriously flawed. The display shows loading and there is no satellite reception. The unit will receive sirius on ocassion. The problem is most likely not the tuner but the receiver.

    Very nice Sirius add on. Play's perfect and with a better deck than the factory Dodge unit I took out I can see my information without pushing buttons.

    works just like it should. I was ble to use the factory Dodge mount and antenna with slight modification. Pretty small, fit right into place

    i gave the item four stars.. only because on some other sat radios you can see grahics of the station.. thats one of those geewhiz i liked to have... but it doenst stop usefulness of the attachement. i also noticed that in my HU it takes a few seconds to load where a station. again not a deal breaker just good info..i usually switch to another source and right back and waorks fine then. as for the install really easy. i have an 05 sequia and had extra space there to put it where ever i wanted.. sounds great thru my speakers and i dont have the addiotnal wire dangling in front of my dash board. looks factory now.. VERY CLEAN..

    I love my Sirius radio so this was a must have for me. It works as it should. I have a 2008 Jeep Commander and the stock satellite antenna DOES fit this tuner. I really didn't want another antenna on top of my vehicle so this is a huge bonus.
