John Haydock

John Haydock joined the Crutchfield executive team in March 2005. He leads our Direct Marketing, eCommerce and Creative departments and is responsible for setting our overall marketing strategy. John's role is to reinforce Crutchfield's benefits to existing customers, while introducing the essence of our brand and capabilities to new customers. John and his team of over 50 employees manage advertising efforts as well as the content, design and implementation of the highly regarded Crutchfield catalog and website.

Prior to joining Crutchfield, John spent 12 years in consumer packaged goods working for Unilever and Cadbury Schweppes. During his time at Unilever, John managed a range of brands including Lever 2000, Sunlight, and Snuggle. During his time at Cadbury, John led a successful turnaround of the Clamato Brand, repositioning the U.S. business to focus on Mexican Hispanic consumers and ramping up innovation in the Canadian market. Just before joining Crutchfield, John was VP Marketing for the $1 billion Juice and Drinks Portfolio which included brands like Hawaiian Punch, Motts, Country Time, Mistic, Yoo-hoo and Nantucket Nectars.

John received his BA (psychology) and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to receiving his MBA, he was involved in several entrepreneurial ventures including ownership of a balloon retailer and an advertising specialties distributor. John and his wife have two adventurous young boys and reside in the rolling hills of Earlysville Virginia.
