Features

Overview: The GT-RSL is an optional accessory that allows you to remotely adjust the subwoofer level of a compatible Boston Acoustic GT-series amplifier, relative to the main speaker system. This allows you more control and flexibility from the listening position.

VCA: The GT-RSL uses a VCA or voltage-controlled amplifier to vary the level of the subwoofer. Changes in the voltage level effect the output level of the subwoofer. No audio signal is sent to the controller, therefore, noise cannot be injected into the system from an external source.

Installation: The GT-RSL includes a Controller PC Board, which plugs into a port on compatible GT amplifiers, and provides an RJ-45 jack on the front panel of the amp. The 13.25' (4 meter) RSL cable plugs into the RJ-45 jack and the controller unit mounts under the dash, within easy reach of the listening position. For a flush installation, a 5/16" diameter hole should be drilled and the knob and attachment nut removed before pushing the shaft through the hole. After installation, the supplied new cover plate should be installed over the amp port.
