Balanced Armature Drivers: The Sony XBA Series digital noise-canceling
in-ear headphones (XBA-NC85D) are outfitted with Sony's newly developed balanced
armature driver units engineered for crisp, balanced sound of incredible depth
and precision. Infused with premium audio technology, even the most subtle
musical nuances are delivered with tremendous clarity and detail. Compared to
conventional dynamic drivers, Balanced Armature drivers deliver crystal-clear
vocals and booming bass with impressive depth. Plus, the micro-sized, full range
driver comes precision tuned by Sony engineers to evenly reproduce a broad
spectrum of high to low frequency response for an incredibly balanced audio
experience.
Digital Noise Cancelation: Everything you need for outstanding
noise-free audio reproduction can be found housed inside the ear pieces: the
micro-sized BA drivers, sophisticated digital noise canceling circuitry, and an
internal rechargeable battery for up to 20 hours of listening enjoyment. Sony's
advanced digital signal processing technology reduces aggravating ambient noise
by up to 97.5% for distraction-free listening, even in loud public places. A
tiny microphone on each earpiece works in tandem with noise canceling circuitry
to create an opposite sound wave and eliminate an onslaught of ambient noise.
Artificial Intelligence Technology: Not all ambient noise is the same.
Artificial Intelligence technology automatically analyzes the type of sound that
surrounds you (whether it be airplane, bus, train, office, or gym) and selects
the optimal noise canceling mode for the environment.
Rechargeable Battery: The XBA-NC85D Balanced Armature (BA) in-ear
headphones utilize a tiny integrated rechargeable battery in each earphone. The
batteries can be recharged by connecting the headphones to a free USB (type-A)
on your computer, via the supplied USB charger.
Noise Isolation Design: Because Balanced Armature drivers
sport an ultra compact design for a smaller overall form factor, they slip
easily inside the ear for a snug, more natural-feeling fit. The result is
reduced ambient noise and limited sound leakage.
Multiple Ear Tips: The Sony XBA Series noise-canceling
in-ear headphones come with 3 sizes of silicone/foam ear tips (s/m/l) to ensure
a tailored fit that further maximizes overall sound quality and comfort.
Headphone Cable w/ 3.5mm Connector: The Sony XBA-NC8D in-ear
headphones feature an attached 5' audio cable terminated by a right-angle 3.5mm
connector. An included clothing clip and cord adjuster help prevent the cable
from moving around too much and tangling up.
Carrying Case: The Sony XBA-NC8D comes with hard carrying
case to store and transport the headphones.
