Alpine's HD Radio™ receivers feature a smart tuner that keeps you tuned in to secondary channels even if you're at the edge of reception and lose the digital signal briefly. On most other stereos, the secondary channels just drop out momentarily as the signal comes and goes. The main channel automatically switches between digital and analog as needed.
