Features
Overview: The Sound
Ordnance USO Mixer (USO-MIX3) is intended for use in home and semi-professional
audio systems, mixing and controlling low-level audio signal from a variety of
different sources. Its a great addition to the Sound Ordnance PA System (sold
separately).
Peak/Level Output Display:
The front-panel Peak/Level Output Display indicates the device's output level.
If the white display LED lights up, the output level is too high.
Main Level Control: The
front-panel main level control sets the overall output level of the mixer.
Input Level Controls: The
front-panel input level controls (Phone/Line1/Line2/Line3/Mic) set the level of
the signal source connected to the corresponding input.
Bass/Mid/Treble Controls:
The front-panel tone controls let you adjust the tonal output of the mixed audio
signal with separate controls for the bass, midrange, and treble.
RCA Inputs: The Sound
Ordnance USO Mixer has 3 stereo line-level inputs for use with devices, such as
your CD player, MP3 player, or Tape deck.
Note: This audio mixer
is only intended for use with line-level audio signal inputs.
Phono Input: The mixer
features a rear-panel Phono input which lets you connect your turntable. Do not
connect your turntable to the other RCA jack on this mixer. A Phono ground
connection is available if your turntable has a ground cable.
Mic Input: A dynamic
microphone with a 1/4" jack can be connected to the mixer's front-panel Mic
input. There is a front-panel switch which turns the Mic input On or Off.
Note: When the Mic
input is turned on, the mixer's Line 3 RCA input is disabled.
RCA/XLR Outputs: The Sound
Ordnance USO Mixer is equipped with an unbalanced stereo RCA output and a
balanced stereo XLR stereo output. Either the RCA or XLR audio output will be
connected to your amplifier. The RCA/XLR outputs are located on the rear-panel
of the mixer.
Note: Do not connect
both RCA/XLR outputs to your amplifier.
Power Requirements: The
audio mixer can operate on either 110-120 volt or 220-240 volt alternating
current. The Input voltage is selectable. A 6.5' detachable AC power cord is
supplied.
Indoor Use Only: The mixer
is designed for indoor use and should not be exposed to damp or wet
environments.
