Program your remote easily over the web
Connect your Harmony remote to your computer with the supplied USB cable to get started. Go to the Harmony Remote website and answer a few simple questions about your components and how they're set up. When you're done, the site automatically programs your remote accordingly. Plus, it remembers information about your setup, making it quick and easy to reprogram the remote if you add components down the road.
Four dedicated/preset "Activity" buttons offer one-touch control of your system. For example, to play a DVD, just press "Watch a Movie." The 700 instantly evaluates your system, turns on or off the appropriate components, selects the proper settings, and starts the DVD player. And should you need it, Harmony's famous "Help" button provides simple, step-by-step on-screen instructions to help you solve any problem quickly and easily.
From the review A review of the Logitech Harmony 700
"Aesthetically, the all-black color, curvy design, and solid feel of the 700 make it seem worth more than you're actually paying for it. And the rubber buttons are also a nice touch, as the hard plastic buttons on our previous remote could sometimes be a little unfriendly."
