The remote is compatible with select iPods, iPhones, iPads, and other brand phones (functionality varies by model for brands other than Apple). With the remote you get on-cable control of your music, as well as easy, high quality hands-free phone use. You have quick-access music playback control without having to dig for your iPod or iPhone. Plus, the high-grade microphone and high-resolution, sound-isolating headphones combine to let you hear and be heard more clearly than with your cell-phone to your ear.
