Thule's Set-to-Go kayak saddles hold your kayak securely on your roof rack. These saddles provide six times more contact area than roller-type loading for secure, form-fitting support, and their tacky surface gribs and holds your kayak.

The saddles are compatible with Thule, Yakima, and most factory roof racks. All Thule equipment passes tough European safety standards for car racks.

Note: You'll need two sets of saddles to carry a kayak. You can use another set of Thule's Set-to-Go, or many people use a set of 875XT Hydro-Glide saddles to slide the boat into place, while the Set-To-Go saddles hold the boat securely.

The 878xt provides maximum kayak protection and transport stability thanks to its soft, adjustable saddle. The 878xt is sold as a pair, complete system with additional saddle carrier. It includes one ratcheting tie down, strap and buckle protector (additional tie down required for safe boat transport).

    Compatibility: The Thule 878xt fits Thule standard and Xsporter load bars, Yakima, and most factory installed racks.

    Note: May require the use of Xadapt3 (80 MM bolts) on some factory applications. This item will require the use of Xadapt3 (80 MM bolts) on our XSporter (421/422) and Rapid Aero Bars.
