Features

Overview: The Maxell CD-330 cassette adapter allows you to play your portable MP3, CD, MD or PC device through your vehicle's cassette receiver.

Loading: The 46" cord is attached to the right side corner of the cassette adapter. The edge of the cassette can be opened to allow you to move the cord from the right side corner to the left side corner, left bottom corner, or right bottom corner. This allows the adapter to fit both front-loading and side-loading cassette players, and adapt the cord to the direction the tape is inserted into the player.

Great product!!

Written By Todd, Midland, MI on Thursday, October 11, 2012
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I read the previous review prior to purchasing and I was worried that I might not have very good sound quality but the sound is excellent...no different than the radio in the car. The car I use this in has a standard factory installed radio and is over 10 year old. This is an excellent value!
Pros:
Very easy to use, just plug in the MP3, stick the tape in the tape deck and go!
Cons:
none that I can see.

Works great (for what it is)

Written By Allan, Wisconsin on Wednesday, January 14, 2009
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a very simple and inexpensive way to connect an MP3 player or other external device to your car sound system. I used it with two vehicles. In the first vehicle I installed a Sanyo FXCD-550 (also purchased from Crutchfield) and the external iPod sounded great. We were very pleased with the audio quality.

In the second vehicle, a 2002 Ford Windstar, I had the factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette player. The Maxell CD-330 adapter worked fine, but the sound was a little muddy. In some further reading I did, apparently this is due to the limited frequency response of the standard car stereo. The Sanyo had better specs, and thus better sounded with the adapter and attached iPod. I considered upgrading to a wired FM modulator, but my wife decided she could live with the sound quality.
