Quality Construction: The Marantz NA7004 Network Audio Player features
a double-layered chassis and uses four large rubber feet to resist vibration.
HDAM SA2 Circuits: In the analog section of the NA7004 are
Marantz-proprietary HDAM SA2 circuits that handle critical buffering and
stage-to-stage signal transition.
Symmetrical Audio Circuitry: Symmetrical signal traces help maintain
perfect synchronization between Left and Right channels for rock-stable imaging
and a convincing soundstage.
Impedance Matching Copper Plate: An impedance-matching copper plate
inside the rear panel just behind the analog outputs improves signal-to-noise
performance and channel separation to preserve the NA7004's outstanding imaging
capabilities.
High-Grade D/A Converter: The Marantz NA7004 employs a Cirrus Logic
advanced D/A converter (CS4398) for superb high-fidelity audio playback
(2Hz-96kHz). The
Cirrus CS4398 stereo D/A Converter offers several advantages. An advanced
multi-bit Delta-Sigma architecture handles 24-bit/192kHz digital signals, and
boasts extraordinary dynamic range (up to 110db) as well as equally exceptional
signal-to-noise performance (up to 110dB) so your digital music files provide the warmth,
detail, and resolution you demand.
M-DAX: The Marantz Dynamic Audio eXpander (M-DAX) makes up for lost
audio content in compressed audio sources (from lossy compression) during
playback. You can choose from on of the following M-DAX levels - High, Mid, Low,
or Off.
Analog & Digital Outputs: The Marantz Network Audio Player features
both analog & digital audio outputs.

circuit and front-panel 1/4" headphone output. The headphone output includes a
high-speed current buffer circuit for minimal interference with the main audio
output circuit, resulting in maximum articulation, stability, and fatigue-free
listening. The headphone output has its own volume level adjustment.
