Great place to put a screen

Even if you can't replace your headrests and don't have room for an overhead monitor, you can still put in backseat video with Accele's LCDMBZ85BK monitor. This multimedia player mounts with a clever system that straddles your vehicle's center console to provide your backseat passengers with plenty of entertainment. The mount will adjust to fit almost any vehicle with a front seat center console.

Audio/Video features

The 8.5" LCD widescreen displays a crisp, colorful picture to everyone in the back. A built-in DVD player handles your disc-based videos, while USB, SD card, and A/V inputs let you play almost everything else. The included IR remote controller offers easy control, even from the front seat. And built-in IR transmitters lets people in the back listen with wireless headphones (not included) without bothering those up front.

Overview: The Accele Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor (LCDMBZ85BN) provides rear-seat entertainment in select vehicles that feature front-bucket seats and a center console. The unit's mounting brackets adjust for consoles that are 5.75" to 8.5" wide.

8.5" LCD Screen: The Accele Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor features an 8.5 TFT-LCD for your viewing pleasure. The integrated LCD monitor swivels 350-degrees.

Built-In Speakers: The Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor is equipped with stereo speakers.

DVD Player: The built-in DVD player supports playback of DVD Video, CD Audio, Video CD, and Kodak Picture CD discs (12/8cm). The DVD player also supports playback of MPEG1/2/4 video files recorded onto DVD-R/RW discs. In addition, the player supports playback of MP3/WMA music files recorded onto CD-R/RW discs.

USB Input: The side-panel USB port lets you connect a USB mass storage class device containing MP3/WMA music files, JPEG photo files, or MP4 video files.

SD-Card Slot: The side-panel USB ports lets you insert a SD or MMC memory card containing MP3/WMA music files, JPEG photo files, or MP4 video files.

AV Input: There is a composite vide/stereo RCA input for connecting an external source, such as a digital TV tuner (only available through the unit's power/signal cable).

AV Output: The 3.5mm AV output allows you to connect the Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor to your existing car audio system.

FM Transmitter: The Accele Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor incorporates a built-in FM transmitter which allows you to wirelessly transmit audio from the unit to your vehicle's FM radio.

IR Transmitter: The built-in IR transmitter let you wirelessly connect a set of IR headphones (sold separately).

Power Requirements: The Accele Central Armrest DVD Player/Monitor (LCDMBZ85BN) comes with a 12-volt/cigarette lighter adapter which can simply be plugged into your vehicle's 12V power/cigarette lighter port. The unit can also be hardwired to your vehicle's electrical system via the included power/signal cable.
