2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES

Very nice to have some instructions specific to my vehicle and the photos were basically accurate. It would have been 5 stars if it included the detail about needing to ground the aftermarket head unit. Apparently the stereo in the '05 Lancer is grounded through the chassis of the stereo, so grounding the new unit was needed. Not a deal breaker, just had to get some extra connectors to get it done.

Pros:

Good basic instruction set for the receiver and speaker installation. Included in the price on my purchase.

Cons:

Missing info on grounding for the '05 Lancer.

Good overall; however, when detaching vent wires didn't say where they were. I had to get on a subaru forum to find out that they're way in the back, and if you get down next to the gas pedal and look up, you can see one section of the vent.

The basics of the instructions were good but there were details about the installation that were not. I had to call customer support a few times to figure out that some wires needed to be cut so to bypass the harness.
