High Quality Audio Performance: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform
high fidelity sound system delivers balanced, natural sound with smooth
bass, vocal clarity, & crisp highs that complement any genre of music.
Class D Amplifier: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform employs a class D
amplifier to power its enclosed drivers. The unit's class D amplifier & DSP
(digital signal processor) are tuned to dynamically reproduce balanced sound
across the frequency spectrum (20-20kHz).
UQ3 Spatial Sound Enhancement: Relative to larger speaker
system, compact home audio products have a relatively short distance between the
left & right speakers, resulting in limited stereo separation. UQ3 DSP
technology creates a psychoacoustic effect by controlling sound wave interaction
that enhances the perceived stereo separation. The benefit is that you get a
compact system while enjoying an immersive audio experience.
Custom Engineered Drivers: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform is
fitted with dual 2.75" full-range Kevlar-reinforced balanced drivers which
provide light-weight, well dampened rigidity to control motion. The magnets that drive the
speakers' voice coils are a unique blend of iron & carbon that allow a longer
excursion of the diaphragm. This "long-throw" design displaces a larger air
volume which creates deep, smooth bass sound.
Dual Port Chambers: The Dual Port Chambers control air flow in the
system. As the speaker ports wrap from the driver to the rear ports, the
nautilus shaped path increases the air travel while allowing the acoustic
chamber to fit within a compact footprint. Using reinforced plastic resin and
sealed assembly, air leaks & unintended reverberation that degrade sound
performance are eliminated.
Audio Sources
Four Ways to Play: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform plays audio from four
different sources (Bluetooth, iPod dock, FM, & Aux) offering a great deal of
flexibility. Its easy to use with many different devices and share with your
family, friends, & co-workers.
Bluetooth Wireless: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform supports Bluetooth
(ver. 2.0) A2DP
wireless audio streaming. The Soundfreaq's built-in Bluetooth wireless function works with
many A2DP compatible devices & wirelessly plays any audio (including music &
apps) that would
otherwise play through the device's internal speaker or headphone. The Sound
Platform's built-in Bluetooth enables broad bandwidth transfer of high quality
digital audio from up to 33' away. The Sound Platform's built-in Bluetooth
supports many of today's most popular Bluetooth enabled devices - such as your
Apple mobile device (iPod touch, iPhone, iPad); smartphone (Android, Blackberry,
HTC, LG, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Toshiba); & laptop (Windows/Mac).
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology,
some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or
may not support all features when used with the Sound Platform.
Apple Dock: The Soundfreaq Sound Platform features an Apple 30-pin
dock connector with universal well for audio playback, remote control, & charging
of most docking Apple iPods & iPhones. The Sound Platform is compatible with the
following iPods & iPhones (as of November 2011):

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the unit and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this
doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait
until a newer software update is available.
iPad Note: The Apple iPad cannot be docked in the Sound
Platform. You can listen to your Apple iPad via Bluetooth or Aux input.
FM Radio: The Sound Platform is equipped with an integrated FM tuner
with digital stereo tuning and favorite station presets (up to 20). An external FM wire
antenna is included for enhanced reception.
Aux Input: The Sound Platform is fitted with a stereo 3.5mm auxiliary jack
that accepts input from almost any audio device with 3.5mm audio output or
headphone jack. This way, you can use the Sound Platform to listen to virtually
any audio source you want.
Remote Control
IR Remote Control: The Sound Platform comes with an IR
remote control to operate the system, your docked Apple device, or connected
Bluetooth device. The remote provides basic playback functions; such as
Play/Pause, Skip Next/Previous, & Fast Forward/Rewind.
Note: There is a side-panel compartment for storage of the remote.
Soundfreaq Remote App: When the Sound Platform is
connected via Bluetooth, the free downloadable Soundfreaq Remote app lets you use your
compatible Apple iOS or Android device as the Sound Platform's remote control &
to interface with the system's built-in FM radio tuner. You can manage your
tracks, playlist, volume, tone controls directly from your Apple iOS or Android
device. You can also see your track information & settings on your device's LCD
screen.
- Source Selection: Change the input source directly from your
Apple iOS or Android device (with Soundfreaq App installed) between -
Bluetooth, iPod dock, Aux In, & FM radio.
- Song Selection: Access the full library of songs on your
compatible Apple iOS or Android device. You can browse by playlist, genre,
artist, album, or song.
- Play Control: The Soundfreaq Remote App provides Play/Pause & Skip
Forward/Backward playback functions of the music that's streaming or playing
from the dock.
- Radio Control: The Soundfreaq Remote App lets you tune radio
stations & set/recall preset stations.
- Volume Control: You can also control volume, mute, & tone control
functions.
Note: You must be within 30' of
the Sound Stack for the Soundfreaq Remote App to function.
Soundfreaq Remote App Compatibility: The free Soundfreaq Remote App is
available for Apple iOS & Android.
