Wow!

Bass as low as 57 cycles? Really? Really. Haven't bought car speakers in years. These are impressive. They replaced the stock speakers in my 2004 Mazda 6. I was planning on eventually adding a subwoofer, but don't feel the need right now. Bass response isn't butt-thumping like a sub, but it IS gut-grabbing. I'm hearing things in the songs on my CDs that I haven't heard before. Probably never will install a sub. Very impressive!

Pros:

Impressive reproduction throughout the listening range. Especially the bass.

None.

My sister killed my speakers in my 97 Ford F-150 and needed to be replace, when I order a new receiver for my 06, I order the R1682 speakers. Alittle pricey more my old truck but I said what the heck.

Pros:

easy to install, love the sound

Cons:

price was alittle high but you get what you paid for and I am happy with it.

It took me an hour to install in my 2009 mazda 3 but ive never done this before. Instructions were straight foward, just a little hesitant when snapping the panel off. Ive read reviews about people saying their new speakers are tight and dont have as much bass as the factory ones but thats not the case here. Made my beads hanging from rear view mirror vibrate. Used the same screws that the factory had, and the wires were plug n play.. Sound is awesome even at loud levels. Im sure it will sound even better with a head unit. And thats that ive only installed two of em in the front doors..

None so far as i just installed em. Will get the same speakers for rear soon....

Good sound quality. Construction and materials appropriate for automotive applications.

Pros:

They fit. Sound good.

Cons:

No protective screens. The original Ford truck application front speakers had a protective grill. I believe the door panel is enough protection.

It's been many years since I replaced any electronics in a vehicle. I forgot just how easy Crutchfield makes every step from ordering to install. Granted, all I installed in my 2011 F150 Fx4, were door speakers, the instructions made the install simple. And these speakers really surprised me. I'm trying to piece together a better system to replace the pathetic factory system and these speakers were step 1. I'll be ordering a head unit, amp, subs etc...next and look forward working with Crutchfield. Next, I'll start on my 2013 Vette! Thanks Crutchfield!

I was replacing the door speakers in my stock 07 Miazda 6, and after putting these speakers in I was not impressed at all. The stock speakers sounded much better than these, and my car didnt come with the bose system. I will be returning them, and I am completely unsatisfied with them. I wish i wouldve spent more to get a better bang for my buck.

I installed 4 Rockford Fosgate Prime speakers into all 4 doors of my 2004 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab. These speakers are fantastic, ESPECIALLY for the price. The high's and low's are incredible, and even with the stock stereo in my truck, I can still fin tune the sound to fit any genre of music from metal, to jazz, to electronic, and everything in between. The bass is probably the weakest aspect of the speakers, but this is understandable as they are only 6 x 8 speakers, and therefore not capable of producing a lot of bass. Regardless, the door panels of my compact truck allow for significant resonance for the speakers, and the bass that they do produce should be sufficient for the average listener. However, I listen to a lot of metal and electronic music, so I will be investing in a sub-woofer later on to improve the bass. These speakers have a very appealing price, and the sound quality is much better than I had expected for the price-tag.

Pros:

Highs Mids Overall Sound Quality Ease of installation (through Crutchfield's Ford Wiring Harness)

Cons:

Possibly the bass, but that is due to the size of the speakers, not their quality. You probably won't get much better results even with a more expensive speaker. It is still sufficient regardless, although not as extraordinary as the high's and low's.

Fit in my space, and sound great. Mids are very good, highs and great, and bass is accepteble.

Pros:

great sound, and easy to work with. Had the mounting hadware and speaker wire.

Bought these along with a JVC KDX50BT head unit. I've always wanted a pair of Rockford Fosgate's and thought this would be a perfect time to do so. I installed them in my 2010 Ford E-350 work van. These are an upgrade from the factory 25Watt 6x8's. I figured since I am in there most of the time the way it is, I might as well have it be as enjoyable as possible. I installed these yesterday and were a breeze to install with the Mastersheet provided by Crutchfield. Once again, you guys never fail to amaze! It took all of the guess work out on how to install. The sound of these speakers is awesome. I usually listed to hard rock and these speakers did not disappoint! The sounds are very good. I am not an expert but I do think these sound VERY good!!!

Pros:

Easy install. Great mastersheet to help. Great sound. Great low price!

Cons:

None. All around good speaker!

I ordered these and they came, as always, within a few days from Crutchfield. Thumbs up there. I had no problem putting them in thanks to the master sheet. Two thumbs up. However I was really disappointed with the quality. The bass is definitely an improvement over stock, at-least at lower volumes. Mids were the most disappointing, but hey it is a two way speaker for cheap..

I installed 4 of these speakers in a 01 F-350 to replace the factory ones. Paired it with a Pioneer DEH-P9400BH and they sound awesome! At first they left a little to be desired, but the more they are played, the better they sound.

Night and day difference over the weak speakers in my 2007 F150. Took about an hour to install all 4 speakers with Crutchfields excellent directions. Didn't even need the supplied wiring adapters.
