Features
Compatibility: The enclosure's shape and tan plastic facia color are
made to fit the space behind the driver's seat and match the
factory tan interior color of 88-97' full-size Chevy and GMC
standard cab trucks. The enclosure is roughly wedge shaped with
an extension protruding from the lower left corner (extension
designed to rest on center portion of cab floor). There are two
plastic feet on the bottom of the enclosure to stabilize it and
prevent the plastic facia from making direct contact with the floor.

Mounting: The enclosure is made to sit behind the driver's seat in
the above mentioned vehicles.
Small Sealed Enclosure: This enclosure is made for use with woofers designed for
small sealed enclosures.
- Speaker mounting height: 0.625"
- Maximum speaker frame diameter: 10.775"
Cosmetics: The enclosure is made of 1/2" particle board, and it is finished
with a molded plastic facia that covers all but the back panel of
the enclosure. The plastic facia has a wrinkled surface pattern
and is painted to color match the tan factory interior color of
88-97' Chevy/GMC trucks. The back panel is covered with box carpet.
The friction fit grille is made of a flexible black plastic mesh.
Wiring: The wire supplied to connect the terminal cup to the woofer is
terminated at both ends with 0.205" female quick slides. One
conductor has a black stripe on it's insulation (on the reviewed
enclosure, the black striped wire was connected to the negative
terminal of the terminal cup).
The input terminals are gold plated 5-way binding posts with plastic
wire retaining nuts.
Mounting: For safety and sonic reasons,
Ai Research recommends permanently securing the enclosure to the
vehicle. NO MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE INCLUDED, so, to permanently
attach the enclosure to the vehicle, a bracket kit (item
125B702KIT) will be needed or brackets and screws may be purchased
from a hardware store. Bracket mounting requires drilling and
screwing into the vehicle and enclosure.
