any workspace. In addition to the volume and power controls located on the right
speaker, the Bose Computer MusicMonitor comes with an IR remote control for
added convenience. The Bose Computer MusicMonitor powered speakers is a
two-piece solution offering exceptional performance, simplicity, and value for
your desktop listening area.
Elegant Compact Design: The Bose Computer MusicMonitor powered
speakers are extremely compact and help to free up your valuable desktop space.
Each speaker enclosure features either a brushed aluminum or black finish.
Bose Proprietary Technologies: The unexpected full-range range sound
generated from this compact two-piece powered speaker system is the result of
Bose amplifier technology, proprietary acoustic design, highly efficient
neodymium speakers, and Bose digital signal processing. The Bose Computer
MusicMonitor powered speaker system lets you enjoy the fullness and detail you
may have been missing from your favorite downloads and Internet radio.
- Bose Amplifiers: Proprietary amplifiers are smaller, lighter and more efficient than traditional linear amplifiers to help keep speakers small yet powerful.
- Bose DSP: Active electronic equalization balances low, mid, and high
frequencies for more natural tone and clarity.
- Proprietary Acoustic Design: Proprietary acoustic design features dual internal opposing passive radiators for
unusually deep, powerful low tones from a very small multimedia speaker
system.
- Highly Efficient Neodymium Speakers: High output from small speakers featuring thin but powerful neodymium transducers with 10x
the magnetic energy density of conventional speaker magnets.
Power & Volume Controls: The Bose Computer MusicMonitor powered
speaker system features power and volume control on the right speaker. An IR
remote control is also provided for wireless operation of the system's power &
volume functions.
One Cable Connection: The Bose Computer MusicMonitor requires only one
cable connection between the powered speaker system and your computer or other
audio source. The right speaker features a 3.5mm audio input and includes a 6'
stereo audio minijack cable to connect to your computer or other audio source.
Note: The left speaker features an attached 6' audio cable with a
proprietary connector which plugs into the rear-panel proprietary port on
back of the rear speaker (labeled "To Left Speaker").
Magnetically Shielded: The Bose Computer MusicMonitor powered speakers
are magnetically shielded to prevent monitor interference or damage.
Placement: The size and shape of the speakers make it easy to position
them directly next to your computer. For proper performance, place the right
speaker to the right and the left speaker to the left of your computer. Make
sure there is equal distance on either size. The speaker should be placed no
more than 18'' to 36" apart. This will provide an accurate sound stage.
AC Power Supply: The Bose Computer MusicMonitor power speaker system
operates off of standard household AC current using the supplied AC power
adapter and AC cord. The AC power adapter plugs into the back of the right
speaker.
