I was really surprised with the significant improvement in sound from the stock 6x9s to these P-69s. I love the range it covers and does well with mid-lows and highs. Great bang for your buck. Didn't really care for the plastic/chrome trim and thought that was what was causing my problems with my first set. I initially had issue with my first set at the tweeter stalk, it buzzing at certain low frequencies, and was sent a replacement right away.

Pros:

Excellent price. You really get what you pay for here. Great customer service too! Crutchfield was very helpful regarding product issues and sent a replacement right away.

Cons:

Inner plastic trim around tweeter stalk was not glued down well and creaked when pushed on (leading me to think it was the cause of the initial buzz issues I had after checking wiring connections).

Suprised by these speakers

Was surprised by these speakers. Installed in my wife's Sebring GTC and was worried if the bass would be deep enough. To my surprise they have plenty of bass. They sound great for the price.

these speakers were an absolute upgrade over the stock speakers in my son's honda civic. sound great for the price.

Pros:

bass was a bit better than expected fit 1997 honda housing perfectly

can't think of any because they were just what i was hoping for. great upgrades for my stock speakers.

These speakers were replacements for the stock 6 x 9's in the tailgate of a Dodge minivan. I wondered what they would sound like with the stock Dodge radio and stock front speakers. I am very pleased with the results. I get a lot more bass and mid range from the Sound Ordinance 6 x 9's that complement the stock front speakers.

Pros:

Low Cost, good fit in the existing speaker locations in the Dodge tail gate, goof-proof electrical connection, good sound with stock radio

Cons:

Needed to enlarge mounting holes a tad for easy fit

Man, these speakers hit way above their weight! The sound quality for the price here is phenomenal. They have above average highs and really decent bass response while being driven by a 50W per channel Pioneer head unit. The mids can get a bit muddled but that is not enough to detract from the overall sound quality. Even my wife, who could not normally care less about speakers and sound quality gave me a high-five after hearing these speakers for the first time. I took a chance based on the other user reviews and I am more than pleased that I did. Don't wait...buy these speakers today!

For the price these were a great surprise. Much better than the stock speakers in my Dodge. They have a decent amount of bass and surprising sound quality. After installing them a friend of mine has showed interest in buying them as well.

Pros:

The sound, and clarity, the ease of installation, and build quality was good.

Cons:

The speakers have a grill on them, which was not compatible with my car, it was just a little trying to get them off.

Just installed Sound Ordnance's P-69s in my 2002 Dodge Stratus ES, replacing the rear factory 6x9 speakers. Took about an hour, but it was well worth it. Sound quality is greatly enhanced in the bass and high areas. Mid-range response was better than the factory speakers, but not as noticeable as the other ranges. I suspect the response would be better with a better high-end head unit (I still am using the factory Infinity radio w/EQ). Crutchfield delivery was quick. Overall, a nice upgrade to factory speakers at a very reasonable cost.

Put these in my 2004 Camry. Sounds great with the new Alpine stereo. Just wishing I would have gotten rid of the stock equipment when I bought the car rather when I handed it down to my daughter.

some of the reviews here were accurate, as expected the mids are lacking. compared to factory speakers they are much clearer and the bass is also much cleaner. if you're not an audiophile but just want to upgrade from your typical factory sound system with 4 to 6 speakers, you can't go wrong with these 2 way speakers and adding a separate sub. i still use the stock headunit and these 2 ways make a significant difference (as would probably any coaxials over the factory speakers)

Pros:

cleaner bass and clearer highs

Cons:

not much difference in the mids.

Placed order for 6x9's, that would provide relatively good sound to replace factory speakers. Was informed by Crutchfield personnel the SOUND ORDINANCE 69 speakers should fill the bill. When Speakers arrived, my wife was surprised for receiving a completion of birthday present. When I hooked up speakers and turned on car stereo, I WAS AMAZED with not only the sound, but the SOUND QUALITY. Very excellent speaker. THANK YOU CRUTCHFIELD TEAM

Pros:

Fantastic sound; like re-introducing stereo for auto. Easy installation; all wiring included.

Cons:

One speaker was about 1/16 inch off in size; was unable to get one set screw in to tighten speaker down.

Awesome speakers on a budget get really nice highs and lows... kinda soft on mids.. these speakers can be really loud and not distort and they sound really clear and have good bass. A friend asked if i had a sub haha..
