MTX vehicle-specific unloaded enclosures preserve all the legroom in pickup trucks and all the cargo space in SUVs. Each enclosure is an acoustically-designed, non-resonant, airtight enclosure, with the correct internal volume to yield optimum bass response from a compatible subwoofer.

So what makes these enclosures different than a standard sub box? MTX designs each enclosure for optimum performance in your specific vehicle's acoustic space. Using state-of-the-art rotational molding techniques, and exotic high-density polyethylene ,MTX creates a sculpted masterpiece of a sub box, beautifully finished to blend with your interior. And they sound as good as they look, delivering bass that's tight, accurate, hard-hitting, and way down low.

This enclosure comes without speakers — you can install a pair of 10" Type 1 subwoofers. Compatibility: This enclosure mounts behind the rear seat of your 1997-up Jeep Wrangler.

Unloaded: This enclosure comes without speakers, allowing you to install two compatible 10" subwoofers of your choice.

Molded Enclosure: The molded, high-density polyethylene resin enclosure resists flexing and dampens resonance.

Spring Posts: The enclosure has one set of spring posts that will accept bare wire, pin connectors, banana plugs and dual banana plugs.

Installation

Mounting Location: This enclosure mounts behind the rear seat of your 1997-up Jeep Wrangler. Once installed, the woofers fire downward.

Note: The provided dimensions are taken at the widest points of the enclosure. Keep in mind that the enclosure is custom made to fit in a particular vehicle, so the enclosure will fit properly in only one specific location.

Tools Required: You will need the following tools to install this enclosure:

Powered screwdriver
6" bit holder extension
Right-angle Skewdriver
#2 Phillips head bit
Utility knife

Warranty

5 Year Warranty Terms: This product carries a 5-Year Prorated Warranty with the following terms:

Years 1-2: Products found to be defective in materials or workmanship during the first two years will be, at Mitek's option, repaired or replaced by Mitek at no charge. The warranty period does not renew, but continues on from the original date of purchase.
Years 3-5: The purchase price of an item which becomes defective after the first two years and prior to the end of the warranty period will be prorated and credited toward the purchase of a new MTX product. The amount of proration is determined by dividing the original purchase price by the number of months in the warranty period (60), then multiplying the result by the number of months remaining in the warranty period.
