Speakers sound great and wire hook up was easy. Speakers were 1/4 inch smaller in diametr and need to slightly improvise. Works fine.

Great sound for the money

The speakers fit great in my sons 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Fit the openings perfect just had to drill new holes for the screws, no big deal. They sound great with the Alpine deck, they are tight but could use a little more bass, but they sound great for the price!

Pros:

Overall sound is great, nice and tight.

Cons:

A little short on the deep bass.

These are not the best speakers available but for the money they sound great and have good mid range that I like.

Pros:

Trusted brand, great sound

Cons:

bass is not as good as the rest of the sound profile.

Speakers sound great in my Chevy 1500. Factory stereo pushes them well. Only noticeable difference from factory speakers is a little bit tighter bass. Only issue I had was one of the speakers wires that goes to the voice coil were touching and shorting out. I separated them with a screwdriver and haven't had an issue since. The bracket for the Chevy worked great just wished they would have supplied screws to mount the speaker to the adapter. After reading other reviews I added some weather stripping tape between the bracket and the door panel to keep it nice and tight.

Pros:

Great sound for a factory stereo

Cons:

Terminal wires touching

These speakers were a fantastic upgrade from my factory speakers. The bass is much more full. I really notice better sound quality in the midrange. Much more crisp.

Pros:

Fuller bass, crisper mids and highs. Installation in my Silverado was super easy with the supplied bracket.

Cons:

None so far.

I recently purchased A pair of JBL GT6-6 speaker for the front of my truck. The sounded kind of good but the rear needed to be replaced as well. So i purchased another set. They all installed very quickly and easily. I already know a little about stereos and installation. But Crutchfield also included panel removal, stereo and speaker removal instructions and free speaker wiring harnesses. The service level is great from Crutchfield my stereo sounds so good now. 10 times better. eventually i will use Crutchfield prouducts again to upgrade to an amp and subwoofer. Thanks Crutchfield!

Pros:

The speakers fitment was well with little alteration. I only had to re-drill mounting holes.

Cons:

Compared to what my system sounded like. I have no complaints

These speakers were exactly as advertised. Great sound at a reasonable price. They fit my Grand Cherokee speaker holes as promised and only required drilling of new holes. Piece of cake. It took more time to remove the door panels than mount the speakers and hook up with supplied wire harness adapter. I have purchased several items over the years and can't say enough about Crutchfield's products and service. I price checked these speakers elswhere online and couldn't find a better price, but even if I had I would have purchased here due to customer support and ease of installation with instructions and wiring adapters supplied at no extra charge! I even saved a few bucks by purchasing from "scratch and dent", which meant the corner of the cardboard box was wrinkled, that's it!

Pros:

Awesome sound with clear crisp highs and good base response. With an older Pioneer Super Tuner 111 driving 4 of these door speakers, its all the sound these middle age ears want and more!

Cons:

Zero

Good speakers for the money, rockford fosgate is always my first choice but if you cant afford them get these. Great highs with decent bass for a door speaker.

Great sounding speakers

Great sounding speakers. They capture the highs really well, i dont know about lows since i have a subwoofer but all together great quality for the price. My only complaint is the mounting hole dont look the same as in the display photo. They have 4 small handles that stick out which made them a little difficult to mount in my 2001 civic door. They fit better in my rear deck

Better than stock speakers but not top quality. The speaker is not very heavy. I also ordered polk 650s which was far superior than JBL. Speakers did not fit in correctly on the mounting brackets.

Really impressed. Crutchfield associated talked me into these as a match for a JVC double-din head unit. I've owned lots of car speakers, but these rank among the very best I've ever owned. For the price, unbelievable value with my head unit.

Pros:

Super sound, imaging, not overly bright. Great midrange.

Cons:

Probably not as much bass as one would expect with a larger speaker, but adequate for sure.

I was looking to upgrade the factory speakers in my 97 Camaro convertible and found these JBL GT6-6 speakers to be a good value. I've already got some JBL home speakers that have sounded great for years, so I decided to go with these instead of trying another brand. Of course, the JBLs sound much better than the original speakers. I installed this pair in the doors without any problems at all. I'm considering getting another set for the rear panels, after I make sure that they will fit. There's less mounting depth available there because of the convertible top linkage.

Pros:

Easy installation, perfect replacement for the factory speakers.

Cons:

Decent bass, but not a thumper.

Very good speakers for the price. I installed two sets of these in my crappy mk3 jetta a while back with a jvc stereo and loved it. I would add a low wattage 4 way amp (45 rms x 4 would be best) to get the best clarity out of louder volumes. Unfortunately after spending a total of around $500 on my sound system im selling my jetta and I got a 2007 tacoma standard cab.... I intend on going all out on the sound system for my new truck!

Great price, very clear sound, good enough bass

Great sound and efficiency, perfect upgrade for OEM system. I installed four of these in my Honda Ridgeline and they are a huge improvement over the OEM door speakers.

Pros:

Price, efficiency, sound, value.

Cons:

No mounting hardware?! Seriously, not a single screw or anything!

Excellent bold low frequency sound and good mid to high. This 6 3/4" rear door speaker had to compliment high quality 6x9 front door speakers in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and they completely passed the test. They gave a clean bold presence from the rear to match the larger front speakers. I was completely satified with their sound quality. Thanks goes to the Cruthfield rep for making this suggestion to me, it was great decision. I now have the best sound in my car I've ever experienced.

Pros:

Top quality speaker with great sound reprodution and a bold clean bass response.

Excellent improvement over stock speakers. Very clear sound and louder volume at same setting than stock setup. Now I've got some bass!

Pros:

Good fit for Hone Ridgeline.

Cons:

Scosche SAHR6 mounting rings don't work for Honda Ridgeline, had to order mdf rings.
