These were replacement speakers (all 4) in a base model F150. 2 years ago I replaced the radio with an HD and wish that I had not waited so long to replace the factory speakers. Now I have the "highs" that were missing. Also in this project was an 8" Bazooka tube sub woofer.

Very nice speaker, priced well, and they put out solid performance. I have these in my rear doors & powered by a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH DVD Receiver. They reproduce highs very well, but are limited on the low frequency; that's why man invented the subwoofer so it's not a big deal.

Pros:

Priced well, reproduction of highs is crisp & clear

Cons:

No low frequency/ not a lot of bass can be produced by these

Sweet speakers. You could spend the same money and get by far a less performing speaker.

Pros:

Sweet sounding at low volume. When you crank them up they will truly surprise you on what they do with no distortion. Even when you like to push the low end. I am not talking about sub woffer replacement. But they hang in there better than anytng I have ever used befor.

I decided to give these a try based on the reviews. These fit perfect in my 1993 Ford Mustang coupe. And the factory connector plugs that Crutchfield supplied made this the easiest speaker swap that I've ever done. These sound so much better than my factory 20 year old speakers and I hope they last as long too. They are hooked up to my factory amp and they sound flawless. No distortion at all. Couldn't be happier. I highly recommend these.

Just finished installing kenwood KFC-C6894PS in the rear doors of a 2004 Explore. I put the kicker KS68 in the front doors. I was looking to match the base that came out of the stock speakers in the Explorer. Believe you me, they are awesome!!!!!! I have a Clarion head unit. No aftermarket amp, these speakers really rock I'm telling you. There is plenty of base and the highs and the meds are exactly what I was looking for. The install was so easy came with stock wiring harness no cutting no soldering No mass. Door panels a breeze to get off, couldn't believe it. If you're looking for a replacement speakers to go inplace of the old crappy stock ones this is the only choice for the 2004 Ford Explorer ,these are the ones.

Pros:

learned how to remove the door panels of a 2004 Ford Explorer.

Cons:

Couldn't afford to have somebody else install them.

Very nice speakers for the price. Did not have any install with the speakers. Did on my truck, factory wires was cut and they used female blade conmectors on the speakers. Had to called tech support and they told md which wire is which.

Pros:

Right size, price is great and sound is wonderful in my 97 Ford F-150 again.

Cons:

Send wire color codes for type of vichicle just in case some DA cut the factory wires

These speakers are a huge improvement over the stock ones. They arrived within a few days and only took me 35 minutes to install all four of them in my 2001 Ford F150 ext cab.

These are some of the best speakers I have ever bought for a vehicle, and that includes some that cost two to three times as much. Great clean sound from 1 to max on the volume level of my stereo with absolutely no distortion to speak of. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. I would complain about the lack of bass, but I have 6x8's, which have no bass anyway.

Pros:

Great Sound, solid construction. Can't beat them for the price.

Installed in a 2003 Ford Explorer XLS. Decided on a pair of these for the front doors, mostly due to the reviews from other Crutchfield customers. I can't say anything bad about these Kenwood's. The sound is phenomenal as I enjoy all types of music. I have the speakers hooked up to a JVC KW-XR610 (also purchased the crutchfield) and enjoy the Dynamic and Bass Boost soundfields through these speakers without an amp. I will definately be purchasing another pair for the rear doors and eventually the Sound Ordanance powered subwoofer. Thank you Crutchfield!

Pros:

A subwoofer may help but not necessary for my music. Installation was a no brainer and fast.

None.

So I replaced the front door speakers and rear cab corner speakers in my 2000 F350 Super Duty Crew cab and the sound is a lot better. My speakers were the original so I had one that was blown so my sound was not very good I had to fade out the back. These speakers now have a nice full crisp sound which is very enjoyable. I have a Kenwood deck that helps out and adjusted the fuctions and I actually have bass out of these speakers which is nice. Just a basic system no amp powering the speakers and I'm impressed with the sound quality for sure.

Pros:

They are a good couple step's up from stock speakers. You can hear more instruments in the music now with the tweeter part that stock doesn't have. Overall great sound I would recommend these to my friends if they need speakers. Good price and I didn't have to go to the store. They fit perfect and the pigtail they give you is perfect too that is free.

Cons:

You have to wait for them in the mail which only takes a few days. So nothing bad.

These speakers sound fantastic! I have mine running off an amp and the highs and mids are just great. The bass is really good from such small speakers! They shake my mirrors and door panels. Never thought my music could sound so clear!
