Select Increments brings you the Intra-Pod, a great-looking way to add some kick to your 1976-95 Jeep CJ or Wrangler. This textured plastic subwoofer enclosure is molded to fit neatly between the front seats of your Wrangler, without wasting valuable cargo space. The console features two extra large cup holders, a locking storage compartment, and pockets for your iPod® or cell phone. You'll even find a stealth mounting spot for an amp — a cavity located in the base of this enclosure that's vented so your amplifier stays cool.

The sealed enclosure will accomodate an 8" sub with a magnet diameter of up to 5-3/8", and has an internal volume of .53 cubic feet. The enclosure comes with metal mesh speaker grille and installation hardware, and it screws into the floorboard of your Jeep so all your gear stays safe.

    Overview: The Intra-Pod is sturdy, plastic center console with an 8" subwoofer housing.  It is designed for 1976 to 1995 Jeep CJ7, CJ8, and Wrangler models.

    Application: The Intra-Pod is molded perfectly to fit your 1976-up Jeep CJ7 and CJ8, or 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler.

    Center Console Design: This custom subwoofer enclosure doubles as a center console. It features two large, integrated cup-holders, a locking storage compartment with a durable continuous hinges, and pockets up front for your cell phone, coins, and more.

    Enclosure Construction: The enclosure is constructed of a sturdy plastic material that will stand up to your abuse for years to come and compliment your vehicle's interior with a factory appearance. The enclosure is black in color.

    Grille: The enclosure comes with a durable round 8" metal-mesh speaker grille to protect your woofer.

    Speaker Compatibility: The Intra-Pod will accept a single 8" subwoofer (sold separately) with a maximum depth of 7.875" and a magnet diameter of approximately 5.375".

    Note: Speaker or wiring not included.

    Sealed Air Chamber: The Intra-Pod's sealed air chamber design provides high quality audio response with very tight bass for  your 8" subwoofer (sold separately). The sealed inner chamber volume is approximately 0.53 cubic feet.

    Amplifier Cavity: A concealed amplifier cavity is recessed in the base of the Intra-Pod, hiding it from view. The cavity is also vented to keep the amplifier running cool. The amplifier cavity measures 8" (w)  x 3.5" (h) x 11" (d).

    Installation

    Intra-Pod Installation: The Intra-Pod installs easily between the front seats. It mounts to the floor with three torx-head self-tapping screws. The integrated 8" subwoofer housing, the included metal mesh grille, the hidden amplifier compartment, and the concealed wire lead hole makes for an easy and tidy installation.

    Tools Required: The following tools are needed for installation of the Intra-Pod.

    • Drill and Phillips bit
    • Exacta knife / razor blade
    • Wire cutters / strippers
    • Wire terminal crimper
    • 5/16" socket bit and extension for drill or 5/16" ratchet socket and extension and a small drill bit for pilot holes

    Note: You may need a Roto cut-out tool if you have to make the speaker hole slightly larger to fit your desired speaker.
