As always, crutchfield is awesome with always making your installation easy with all the necessary parts, installation Manuals, etc. Was looking for a simple replacement for my 2010 jeep cherokee. If you are looking for just treble/highs/vocals, these are your speakers. They have some bass but they can easily get very distorted and it's a pain having to switch my bass down to -9 or -2 depending on the song. Overall good for the price but only for vocals. Written By Majormitch41, San Antonio, TX on Friday, May 10, 2013 Installed in a 2007 Honda Civic LX Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) When looking for a speaker upgrade I was a little skeptical of these speakers being that they are so cheap, but I decided to go with them because you just can't find silk dome tweeters for this price anywhere else. I only have them running off the HU in the rear of my 07 Civic coupe and they sound AMAZING. The sound is incredibly smooth and they have such clarity, even my girlfriend, who could care less about this stuff, noticed the huge improvement over stock. But it's not just a stock replacement. I kid you not when I say these sound just as good and probably have more clarity than my polk db651's (which are amped at 75w rms) in the front. I may have a found a new go-to brand in Sound Ordnance. Pros: Clarity, smoothness, and VALUE Cons: I guess I should mention they don't have a huge amount of bass by themselves, but what can you expect from a 6.5 coax? Written By theqaking, Austin, TX on Wednesday, May 01, 2013 Installed in a 2010 Nissan Rogue Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Man, these speakers hit way above their weight! The sound quality for the price here is phenomenal. They have above average highs and really decent mids while being driven by a 50W per channel Pioneer head unit. The lows can get a bit muddled but I that's not what a 6.5" is for anyway so that's fine. Even my wife, who could not normally care less about speakers and sound quality gave me a high-five after hearing these speakers for the first time. I took a chance based on the other user reviews and I am more than pleased that I did. Don't wait...buy these speakers today! Pros: Fantastic Value Audio Quality: Highs and Mids Cons: Not a ton of 'punch' Was this review helpful? Yes | No 3 out of 5 odd size NOT 6 1/2" Written By DubBug, Alabama on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 Fine speakers, but They are NOT 6 1/2 speakers, they are slightly smaller which is why so many people say they don't fit. Total Speaker diameter is 6" Screw hole to screw hole diameter is 5 3/4." Too bad crutchfield doesn't list dimensions instead of saying "yes they fit" Could've saved me a month of their return process. And panels dangling in my back seat! Cons: Crutchfield lists them wrong. These are 6" speakers and do not fit the Crutchfield adapter or a 6 1/2" cutout. Was this review helpful? I wanted to replace my 20 year old door speakers in my 93 Mustang coupe and I decided on these because they were not expensive and the reviews were all pretty good. I've never used Sound Ordnance until this build and I'm very impressed. I am powering these with the factory amp and they sound great. Nice and clear sound. They could actually use more power I think. These are not made for bass. Buy a sub for that Pros: Great price. Surprisingly good sound. Cons: None Was this review helpful? I needed all new speakers for an older van I have been revitalizing and went with these. The sound quality is above average and the overall performance I have satisfied with. The only thing is that even with the install kit the speakers still did not fit exactly into the locations. I had to redrill new holes and not use some of housing. Pros: Above average sound quality for the price Cons: Did not fit my vehicle even with an install kit. And yes, I double and triple checked that these were going to fit my vehicle using the online tool. 1 out of 2 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Got a great Black Friday deal on the 6 1/2's and 5x7's, to good to pass up really, and I am glad I bought these. Replaced factory in '02 lincoln, basically a winter car, can handle all the power from factory premium alpine system, easy install, all 4 in an hour, it's the little things like the detailed instructions and wiring adapters that really sets crutchfield apart, been a customer since the mid eighties for a reason. At this price point a great speaker, buy it! Pros: Master sheet instructions and wiring harness Cons: Had to do very minor modifying to factory bracket on fronts, rears perfect fit Was this review helpful? Yes | No 4 out of 5 Nice inexpensive speaker Written By chris761, Chicago on Monday, December 03, 2012 Installed in a 2000 Subaru Forester Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Inexpensive replacement speaker for 2000 Forester. Easy installation once I decided to snip off two of the three guides on Subaru's flange rather than drill new holes. Only one hole matched the 3 threaded inserts on the flange. Rather than single 1/16" holes, the manufacturer(s) should provide channels of openings. Maybe one day I'll remove the speaker and drill the two new holes necessary to properly mount it. Maybe. Some other time. The sound is more crisp than the stock speakers. For the price, this speaker is sufficient. Pros: Inexpensive, decent sound, ease of installation Cons: none so far Was this review helpful? Very happy with these speakers, value cannot be beat for the price we paid. Great sound off the factory head unit in our 1999 Honda Civic. Great bass and high end, wish there was a bit more mid range but great sound overall. Not sure why others are complaining about not enough bass response, these have more than plenty for my taste. Overall great speaker for the money, well done Crutchfield. Pros: Build Quality, sound quality, nice tweeter, great bass response Cons: Mid range a bit subdued Was this review helpful? Yes | No 4 out of 5 Not bad for the money Written By Nb, Tx on Friday, November 09, 2012 Installed in a 2002 Saturn VUE Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Put these in the rear position to replace blown OEM speakers. The front speakers were previously replaced with rockford roseate prime 65s, so I had something to compare to. These speakers are way better than stock. They are not quite as good as the Rockfords, but they were less than half price. They cannot handle a lot of power, but in the back seat position , and compared to stock, for the price these can't be beat. Was this review helpful? I'm not an audiophile, I just wanted to replace the rear speakers in my 05 Colorado Crew Cab. The OEM speakers were tired and getting that "fuzz" sound. The SO P65 speakers are much better, with a much crisper and cleaner sound. Like others, I would have to preferred to have more bass response, but I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Pros: Value price, ease of installation, thanks Crutchfield for including the installation hardware Cons: lacks bass response 2 out of 2 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Written By pete v., Cincinnati, OH on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 Installed in a 2005 Saturn VUE Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) I was looking for an inexpensive upgrade to my stock speakers..these were a perfect match! Can't get much better for the money. Installation was a little tricky and instructions really didn't help match my vehicle.other than how to remove the door panel. But I was able to figure it out and the sound is a very nice upgrade from the stock speakers. I see some reviews on here and wonder what exactly they expected for the price??? If you want high end sound....buy high end speakers. These are not them. But if you want an inexpensive upgrade to stock speakers, give these a go. Pros: Can't beat the price...and quality is good. 5 out of 5 Can't believe my ears! That's what a sub is for 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Yes | No
4 out of 5 Easy install Written By Anonymous, Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, May 07, 2013 Installed in a 1999 Dodge Dakota Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Easy install. Good improvement over OEM. Good mids and highs. A bit soft on the bottom Was this review helpful? Yes | No
5 out of 5 Seriously? Yes | No
3 out of 5 odd size NOT 6 1/2" Written By DubBug, Alabama on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 Fine speakers, but They are NOT 6 1/2 speakers, they are slightly smaller which is why so many people say they don't fit. Yes | No
5 out of 5 Better than I figured they would be Written By Josh M, McMinnville, TN on Sunday, April 21, 2013 Installed in a 1993 Ford Mustang Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) I wanted to replace my 20 year old door speakers in my 93 Mustang coupe and I decided on these because they were not expensive and the reviews were all pretty good. Yes | No

5 out of 5 Great buy Written By JasonH, Killbuck, OH on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 Installed in a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Great bang for your buck. Blew my old speakers out of the water. The bass is much better in these than my stock cobalt speakers. For the price, kind of hard to go wrong. Pros: good sound, nice bass, seems well built Was this review helpful? Yes | No
3 out of 5 Good speakers for the price, didn't fit as described though Written By Eli, Portland, OR on Monday, December 31, 2012 Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) I needed all new speakers for an older van I have been revitalizing and went with these. Yes | No
5 out of 5 Economical speakerss Written By Sewbike, Lympia, WA on Thursday, December 06, 2012 Installed in a 1998 Subaru Legacy Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Not to bad of sound for economical speakers. These were placed in the rear door that had speakers cut outs but no speakers. Nice full range speakers that adds dimension to the sound. 5 out of 5 Good Sound Great Value Written By JLM, Buffalo NY on Tuesday, December 04, 2012 Installed in a 2002 Lincoln Continental Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Got a great Black Friday deal on the 6 1/2's and 5x7's, to good to pass up really, and I am glad I bought these. Yes | No
4 out of 5 Nice inexpensive speaker Written By chris761, Chicago on Monday, December 03, 2012 Installed in a 2000 Subaru Forester Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Inexpensive replacement speaker for 2000 Forester. Yes | No

5 out of 5 Great choice for stock replacement Written By TimD, Woodbury, MN on Sunday, November 11, 2012 Installed in a 1999 Honda Civic Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Very happy with these speakers, value cannot be beat for the price we paid. Yes | No
4 out of 5 Not bad for the money Written By Nb, Tx on Friday, November 09, 2012 Installed in a 2002 Saturn VUE Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Put these in the rear position to replace blown OEM speakers. Yes | No
4 out of 5 Good Replacement Written By KP, Indy on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 Installed in a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) I'm not an audiophile, I just wanted to replace the rear speakers in my 05 Colorado Crew Cab. Yes | No
4 out of 5 Great value for an upgrade over stock! Cons: For the price...none so far. Was this review helpful? Yes | No
