    Special Teeth and Ring-lock: For an extremely strong grip that stays tight for optimum signal transfer.

    Dimensions: With the insulator connected, the unit is 1.945" long. The FlexPin itself is 0.785" long, and it is approximately 0.095" wide. The insulator measures 0.535" in diameter. Fits up to 12-gauge speaker wire.

    Installation: Unlike most connector systems, Quick Lock connectors require no tools. To connect to speaker cables:

    • Strip the cable jacket to expose 5/8" of copper stranding
    • Slip the Quick Lock mounting post over the exposed copper
    • Using your fingers, twist the copper strands to form a point
    • Place the connector over the copper point, turning it clockwise onto the threaded portion of the mounting post until secure

    Easy, Clean connections

    Great way to terminate speaker wire for easy connections to speakers and receivers. Makes it easy for connecting and reconnecting into tight places. The gold connectors don't tarnish ensuring a solid connection versus copper that can tarnish with time. I ordered two more pairs to use for my other speakers to the receiver.
    Pros:
    Easy to attach to speaker wire. Easy to use. Wires terminated with these connectors are great for initial and future uses. Two pairs of color coded connectors help mark the wires so the phasing is right.
    Cons:
    A little pricey, but worth it.

    Nice product, easy to use. Unfortunately the terminals on my amp are too close together to use these as they will touch. Good product though.

    Great connectors with good price!

    I do a lot of DIY cables, interconnects, etc. I use high quality products, same as the really expensive brands. Not a fan of Monster products as my experience have been that they are overpriced and same quality as other less expensive brands. But, when it comes to their QuickLock products, they are excellent and a great value. High quality, no need to solder, easy to use, and get the job done. This Flex Pins are better than rigid pins that break with time. Rigid pins can also touch each other in vintage gear or equipment where there is not much spacing between + and -. Great product from Monster!
    Pros:
    No soldering, high corrosion resistance. good conductivity, priced right, easy to use, rubber isolation (black part), no tools needed, and accepts thick gauge wires.
    Cons:
    Does not lock well wires that are 16 AWG or less.

    About a year ago I bought a new Yamaha receiver and CD player from Crutchfield. Along with that, I got some Monster QuickLock Banana Connectors to use with some existing Monster Cable run to my vintage Infinity speakers (recently refoamed). The banana connectors worked great with the receiver, but were too large to fit the old terminals on the speakers. So... I just made a bare wire connection to the speakers (like in the old days), until I came across these flex pin connectors. They are appropriately named & solved the problem. I'm not an idiot, but I would say these connectors are pretty much "idiot-proof". Monster produces the highest quality & most easy-to-use cable and connectors I have ever purchased. Crutchfield service, just as always, was fast, accurate and professional.

    I was really frustrated trying to connect our stereo speakers. We had had a handyman do the job originally. We weren't getting sound out of both speakers (in-ceiling type). So, I took on the job to figure out why. I couldn't get the speaker wires to cooperate and land in the spot for the pinch clamp to hold and knew there had to be a better way. I searched and found these connectors. I ordered enough to do the whole setup and found them very easy to install. I was able to get sound out of all of our speakers within an hour! I carefully labeled the wires so that if we disconnect in the future, I can reconnect without any problems! THANK YOU for a great product!
