The type of technology used to produce the images on the screen. Flat-panel screen types include LCD, plasma, and a new one called OLED. Rear-projection TV technologies include DLP, LCoS, and LCD.
General Features
HDMI connections can carry high-definition, copy-protected digital video and high-resolution multichannel audio on a single cable. For most applications, it's the only type of connection that supports 1080p video. HDMI is the connection of choice between Blu-ray players, high-def satellite and cable TV boxes, HD game consoles, and HDTVs and A/V receivers.
A USB media port on your TV or projector lets you connect a digital camera, thumb drive, or storage device for displaying photos (and sometimes other kinds of digital media).
Lens Shift
Lens shift is the preferred way to adjust the image to allow for off-center projector placement. Vertical lens shift moves the image up or down, and unlike keystone correction, lens shift doesn't reduce image resolution.
