Features
Overview: The Scosche tuneFREQ dock allows you to play music through
your car stereo from your docked iPod or iPhone via your car radio's FM radio or
auxiliary input. It also allows you to make hands-free phone calls with your
iPhone through your car stereo (using your iPhone's mic and your vehicle's
speakers). Your iPod or iPhone fits securely in the cradle to mount your device
while charging.
iPod/iPhone Dock: The tuneFREQ dock includes a cradle for your iPod
and iPhone to mount your device. Flexible arms securely hold your iPod or iPhone
and work with most cases on. A flex-neck and rotating head allows for multiple
viewing angles. The tuneFREQ is made for iPhone (4S/4/3GS/3G/2), iPod touch
(1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPod classic (80/120/160GB), and iPod nano
(1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th gen).
Audio Input: The tuneFREQ dock is fitted with a 3.5mm audio input and
comes with a stereo minijack cable to connect the headphone output of your iPod
or iPhone for audio playback. This same minijack input can also be used to
connect any audio player to play music in your car.
FM Transmitter w/ scanFREQ Technology: The Scosche tuneFREQ dock
features a built-in FM transmitter with scanFREQ technology. scanFREQ technology
finds the best transmitting frequency available in your area. Over 100 digital
channel selection (88.1-107.9 MHz; in 0.1 MHz increment) ensures optimal signal
clarity. The 4 station programmable memory allows you to store commonly used
frequencies.
Audio Output: The Scosche tuneFREQ also features a 3.5mm audio output
to connect to your car radio's AUX input (if available) for better quality
sound.
12-Volt Cigarette Light Adapter: A flexible power plug connects to any
standard 12-volt power outlet in your vehicle to keep your docked Apple device
charged, even while it is being used.
USB Port: The Scosche tuneFREQ dock features a USB (type-A) port to
charge additional USB powered devices. The USB port is rated at 5V/1A max.
