    OK, It got the Job done.
    Pros:
    It suited my needs for a dash kit.
    Cons:
    Thought it wasn't heavy enough plastic; rather flimsy and had a crack in it, needed to glue it, will have to shim it to make it properly fit in dash.

    Dash kit fit perfectly in stock mounting positions. When assembled, sits nice and flush with trim. However only thing is the radio doesnt sit flush the bracket, radio sits deeper. Not important but just would make it perfect replacement item.

    I installed an Alpine CDE-HD138BT with the Sirius SXV200V1 using the posi-products connector kit. It was pretty easy. It was tough detaching the radio from the original wires. The one thing that wasn't clear was where to wire the ground. I called Crutchfield and they helped me out. I wired the ground to the top left-hand screw of this Nissan Altima kit. It went screw, ground wire, kit, chassis. The radio had about 3-4 wires that had connectors at the end of them, instead of being bare. The customer service rep suggested I strip them back to the bare wire and attach to the harness as I did the rest of them. I recommend calling crutchfield with any questions.

    No, it doesn't come in multiple colors to match your interior, but neither do the body panels on the car. If you want them to match, you need to paint. This is a quality kit that gives the option of either using the DIN frame that comes with the radio or the included mounting brackets (screws not included). I could not get the DIN frame to mount tight enough for my liking, so I bought some M5x8 screws and used the mounting ears. With more time, I might have painted the bezel to match the dash color.
    Pros:
    Easy install, looks like factory
    Cons:
    The plastic for the DIN mounting frame is not very thick, so the frame may not be as tight as it should be.

    Great to have, made the installation look great. A choice of colors would be better. Black on tan isn't so bad though.

    Fits perfectly in my '05 Altima and no modifications were needed. Since the original stereo is a 1 1/2 DIN size this mounting kit included a small tray for stuff. My new HU included a rear USB input and Bluetooth mic so I cut a hole and ran them through there which was almost perfect. Almost because some people I called said I sounded like I was muffled. The only things keeping it from a 5 star are the color(only black and I have a beige interior) and my HU sits deeper than I would like.

    This kit will perfectly fit your stereo into the dash of the '05 Altima. I would recommend a head unit that can adjust the angle of the face due to the contour of the dash in the car, for best viewing. Makes it look like your aftermarket unit came with the car though. Very easy to install, even with minimal mechanical ability.
