Features

GT-series Amplifiers: The Boston Acoustics GT-5750 amplifier is part of the GT-series, which feature high efficiency output stages that deliver increased power into lower impedances, and maximum dynamics and transient response. The advanced fan cooling system allows you to mount the GT-series amps in varied positions. The low profile design and adjustable mounting feet make installation in tight locations much easier.

Top-mounted AFS Fuse: The amp is equipped with a 100-amp AFS-type fuse, located on the top panel under the removable cover. The fuse is held in place by 2 Phillips-head screws.

Adjustable Mounting Feet: The mounting feet on the GT-5750 can slide along the front and rear edges, allowing you to adjust the mounting points of the amplifier. The feet can adjust between 3/4" and 19-1/4" apart.

Controls

Top-mounted Controls: The amplifier has controls conveniently mounted on the top panel under a removable cover. The controls include:

  • Front Input Sensitivity: adjust the front channel input gain with this rotary control; the range is continuously variable from 0.2 Volts to 8.0 Volts
  • Front High-pass Filter: select a high-pass crossover point using the rotary control, the range is continuously variable from 20 Hz to 350 Hz; a two position switch allows you to turn the high-pass filter On or Off
  • Q-Tune Control: once the front channel high-pass crossover point has been determined, use the rotary Q-Tune control to adjust the bass information centered around the crossover point
  • Rear Signal Routing: set the rear channel input source; dedicated rear input or single input for front and rear
  • Rear Input Sensitivity: adjust the rear channel input gain with this rotary control; the range is continuously variable from 0.2 Volts to 8.0 Volts
  • Rear High-pass Filter: select a high-pass crossover point using the rotary control, the range is continuously variable from 20 Hz to 350 Hz; a two position switch allows you to turn the high-pass filter On or Off
  • Q-Tune Control: once the rear channel high-pass crossover point has been determined, use the rotary Q-Tune control to adjust the bass information centered around the crossover point
  • Subwoofer Signal Routing: set the sub channel input source; dedicated stereo input, dedicated mono input, or single input for front and subwoofer
  • Subwoofer Input Sensitivity: adjust the sub channel input gain with this rotary control; the range is continuously variable from 0.2 Volts to 8.0 Volts
  • Subwoofer Low-pass Filter: select a low-pass crossover point using the rotary control, the range is continuously variable from 50 Hz to 350 Hz; a three position switch allows you to choose the crossover slope (12 dB/octave or 24 dB/octave) or turn the crossover off (full range)
  • GT-RSL (Sub Channel Only): two position switch allows you to turn optional Remote Subwoofer Level control (item number 065GTRSL--see below) on or off

Remote Subwoofer Level (GT-RSL): The GT-5750 has a front-mounted RJ-45 port for connecting the optional GT-RSL Remote Subwoofer Level Controller for GT Amplifiers (065GTRSL, sold separately). When the GT-RSL is connected and switched on, you can control the level of the subwoofer remotely.

Connections

Front-mounted Terminals: The GT-5750 has all of the cable connections on the front of the amplifier for a clean installation. The terminals include:

  • Front Input: Left and right RCA jacks for the front channel input signal from the head unit
  • Remote: 0.250" male quick slide for connecting the remote turn-on lead from the head unit; a 0.250" female quick slide is included for terminating your remote lead
  • Rear Input: Left and right RCA jacks for the rear channel input signal from the head unit
  • Remote: 0.250" male quick slide for connecting the remote turn-on lead from the head unit, a 0.250" female quick slide is included for terminating your remote lead; the three remote terminals are internally shorted together, so only one needs to be connected
  • Subwoofer Input: Left and right RCA jacks for the sub channel input signal from the head unit
  • Remote: 0.250" male quick slide for connecting the remote turn-on lead from the head unit, a 0.250" female quick slide is included for terminating your remote lead; the three remote terminals are internally shorted together, so only one needs to be connected
  • GT-RSL: RJ-45 port, covered by a removable plate, for connecting an optional GT-RSL Remote Subwoofer Level Controller (065GTRSL)
  • Speaker Outputs: six pair of set-screw terminals are provided for connecting the speakers (there are two subwoofer outputs, internally shorted together); the terminals accept up to 12-gauge wire; the set screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 2mm Hex wrench (Note: You must first remove the top cover to access the set screws for the speaker and power terminals.)
  • Power Input: the power and ground connections each have two set-screw terminals; the terminals accept up to 4-gauge wire; the set screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 3mm Hex wrench
