Features
Overview: The MRFA-3LD-URC is an incandescent/halogen dimmer with
built-in radio frequency (RF) receiver. URC Lighting Control by Lutron offers a
simple, cost effective way to control the lighting in your home entertainment
area.
Light Fixture Compatibility: The MRFA-3LD-URC RF Lamp Dimmer is
designed to work with incandescent and halogen lighting up to 300 watts. Do not
exceed maximum load rating of dimmer (300W). Do not use where total wattage is
under 25 watts.
Note: Do not use to control fluorescent lighting fixtures or
compact fluorescent lamps. Do not use the RF Lamp Dimmer to control table
lamps with built-in dimmers, or touch sensitive lamps.
Tap Switch: The MRFA-3LD-URC features a Tap Switch which offers
multiple functions.
- Tap once for On/Off
- Tap twice quickly for lighting to adjust rapidly to full On.
- Press and hold to fade the lighting with a 70-second delay.
Dimming Rocker: There are two push-buttons that let you dim and
brighten your connected lamp.
LEDs: Seven tiny LEDs indicate your connected lamp's light level.
These LED indicators can be set to glow softly at night as a night light, when
the connected lamp is turned off.
Remote Compatible: The RF Lamp Dimmer is also compatible with select Universal remote controls (such as
the 554MX450, sold separately), so you can use the same remote control to dim
the lights and control your home theater system.
Note: Using the Universal MX-450 remote control you can store
preset lighting levels for movie night.
AC Power: The MRFA-3LD-URC RF Lamp Dimmer module features an attached
6' AC power cord terminated by a 2-prong AC plug which plugs into an AC wall
socket (120V-60Hz). The same 2-prong AC plug has a 2-prong AC socket on the
other side to plug in your compatible incandescent/halogen lamp.
