The Sanus VisionMount™ VMA202 lets you mount your sound bar or center channel speaker below your wall-mounted plasma or LCD TV for a clean-looking, good-sounding system. This sturdy bracket lets you fasten your wall-mountable speaker directly to your compatible Sanus TV mount, so you won't have to drill any additional holes in your wall. And because the VMA202 connects directly to your Sanus wall mount, your speaker will always remain in the same plane as your TV, no matter how you adjust it.

Note: The total weight of the TV and speaker must not exceed the TV mount rating.

Features

Overview: The Sanus VisionMount VMA202 soundbar speaker mount attaches directly to VisionMount XF228, LF228, VLF220, VLF210, VMF220, VLMF109 and VXF220 wall mounts , so you can mount your soundbar, digital processor speaker, or center channel with no additional drilling under your wall-mounted flat-panel TV. The VMA202's extruded aluminum and heavy-gauge steel construction is strong and sturdy. Its universal design fits most soundbars and center-channel speakers up to 35 lbs. ProSet height macro adjustments raise or lower the speaker relative to the TV, and ProSet level micro adjustments allow easy horizontal leveling for perfect speaker positioning.

Compatibility: The Sanus VMA202 attaches directly to VisionMount XF228, LF228, VLF220, VLF210, VMF220, VLMF109 and VXF220 mounts for an optimal listening experience with no additional drilling required. Its universal design fits most soundbars and center-channel speakers up to 35 lbs, which feature rear-panel threaded inserts for wall-mounting purposes.

Construction: The Sanus VisionMount Soundbar Speaker Mount features extruded aluminum and heavy-gauge steel construction which is strong and sturdy. The VMA2020 features a black finish.

Proset Adjustment: The Sanus VMA202 Soundbar Speaker Mount features Proset height and level adjustment which raises or lowers the speaker beneath the TV, and allows you to level your mounted soundbar horizontally. ProSet technology lets you make micro-adjustments to height and level after mounting to ensure perfect positioning.

Installation: The VisionMount VMA202 features a vertical mounting bracket that attaches to your compatible Sanus TV wall-mount bracket and a horizontal mounting bracket which attaches to your soundbar speaker. The vertical mounting bracket attaches to your compatible Sanus TV wall-mount bracket using an integrated clamp and supplied hardware. The horizontal speaker mounting bracket mounts to your sound bar using the supplied adapter plates & mounting bolts. The speaker mounting bracket provides a horizontal spacing of 10" to 26.5" to accommodate your soundbar speaker's threaded insert pattern. There are two adapter plates which extend the horizontal spacing to 31". The speaker mounting bracket can be installed using two (minimum) or four (maximum) mounting bolts.

Hardware: The Sanus VMA202 comes supplied with a variety of mounting bolts to fit the threaded inserts on the back of your soundbar speaker. The VMA202 includes the following sizes of mounting bolts - M4, M6, M10, 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16, or 1/4"-20.

The Sanus VMA202 Sound Bar mount worked very well with the Sanus VLF210 TV mount. Easy to install with plenty of strength and adjustability. My only issue with the mount, was I needed to use the provided extenders to mount the Klipsch SB-1 Sound Bar due to length. These extenders were larger than the Sound Bar so you could see the extenders from behind the sound bar (it did not have a clean of a look). So I needed to drill my own holes for mounting of the sound bar. After that, it looks and functions execllent.

Pros:

Strong, good adjusctment, pleanty of hardware and mounted well to TV mount.

Cons:

Did not fit my Sound Bar cleanly.

Limited adjustments, over priced, too many left over parts, but gets the job done.

Pros:

Good alignment, confident it would match manufacturer of the TV mount.

Cons:

Slightly unstable, too much Gap between tv and sound bar (wires are visible).

We were very pleased to find the Sanus VMA202 Sound Bar Speaker Mount. It fits perfectly with the Sanus TV mount and is exactly what we needed. Our new 55" Samsung LED TV is mounted so that it is angled and we wanted to eliminate multiple speakers. We had visited some electronics stores which told us nothing like this existed. The mount is installed and now holds our new speaker bar. Thanks to Crutchfield for offering a great product solution at an awesome price!

I purchased this for use with a Sanus XF228 Full Motion Wall Mount. It was the
perfect addition since the LED TV would be located in the corner of the room.
This product allows the center speaker to compliment the direction of the screen
regardless of the angle . Very easy to assemble and install, from the box to the
wall mount in 10 minutes. Very Happy with this item.

Very comprehensive unit. Directions could've been better. They make it so inclusive of
every possible mounting configuration, it can be confusing which to use. Because it's
meant as a universal bracket to the many soundbars available, I actually used very few
of the multitude of parts. Felt badly throwing away 99% of the mounting/attachment
hardware. Unit looks great and works as advertised. Have a Sony 55" LED TV.
