Features
LCR Soundbar Speaker: The Artison Studio 39 SoundBar is a 3-channel
(Left, Center, and Right) passive LCR loudspeaker which delivers the left,
center, and right audio information from your AV surround sound system out of a
single speaker. This slim three-channel solution can easily mount to your
flat-panel TV or sit in front of your plasma or LCD television without blocking
the screen. A custom grille (sold separately) that matches the color and width
of your television is available, allowing the SoundBar to blend in
aesthetically. The Studio 39 SoundBar performs very well for movies and music
soundtracks.
3 Channel Driver System: The Artison Studio 39 SoundBar features four
3.5" Long-Throw Carbon Fiber midrange drivers, three 1" Vifa DX Super Audio
Tweeters, and two 0.75" Stage Tweeters. The stage-tweeters positioned on each
end of the SoundBar provide an off-axis effect for the front-channels. All three
speaker channels have independent air chambers and crossovers. The Left, Center,
and Right speaker sections of the Studio 39 SoundBar are divided as follows.
- Left Channel: One 1" Vifa DX Super Audio Tweeter, one 3.5"
Long-Throw Carbon Fiber midrange driver, and one 0.75" Stage Tweeter.
- Center Channel: One 1" Vifa DX Super Audio Tweeter and two 3.5"
Long-Throw Carbon Fiber midrange drivers.
- Right Channel: One 1" Vifa DX Super Audio Tweeter, one 3.5"
Long-Throw Carbon Fiber midrange driver, and one 0.75" Stage Tweeter.
Stage Tweeters: To expand the soundstage beyond the limits of the soundbar
speaker itself, the Studio 39 Soundbar features a pair of Stage Tweeters on
the outside ends of the enclosure. These tweeters aim toward the rear wall
at a 45° angle. The sound reflects off
the wall and dramatically widens the sonic image.
Spring Post Speaker Terminals: The Artison Studio 39 SoundBar will
require three discrete audio signal from an external multi-channel amplifier.
The SoundBar speaker features three pair of gold-plated spring-post terminals
(Left, Center, and Right). The spring-post terminals will accommodate 16 gauge
to 12 gauge speaker wire.
Extruded Aluminum Enclosure (Ported): The Studio 39 SoundBar employs
an extruded aluminum enclosure. This enclosure provides a very rigid and
resonant free chassis on which to mount the midrange drivers and tweeters. The
SoundBar speaker utilizes a bass-reflex enclosure design with 3 front-firing
ports for added bass response and efficiency.
Mounting Options: The included television mounting brackets allow
Studio 39 SoundBar speaker to attach to virtually any flat-panel TV (1"-3.6"
deep). In a tabletop installation, simply screw the brackets into the standard
VESA mounting points and adjust it to match the bezel either above or below the
TV. When using a fixed, tilt, or articulating wall mount, the television
mounting brackets are sandwiched between the mount and the TV. You also simply
choose to sit the Soundbar speaker in front of your flat-panel TV.
Custom Grille: The Studio 39 SoundBar is so named because it will fit
on TVs measuring just 39" wide with a custom grille (sold separately). Of course
the grille can be ordered in any size larger than the minimum to match whatever
TV size you have. Artison offers the ability to specify the exact model of your
TV and have a grille exactly match the width dimension. Since the grille is the
only element of the speaker that is visible after the installation, it appears
to be an integral part of the TV
