This item was included with my Alpine IDA-X305x, fit was good, works great.. I was not so sure it would cover the 1.5 Din opening and look well around the smaller head unit, I was pleased to see it fit and looks great. Wonderful customer service and added value is always nice.

Bought this to install a pioneer head unit that was previously installed in my old monte carlo. Up until now I have not dealt with pre-made dash kits because nothing was made for my 1978. Ive only had experience with making a fiberglass dash insert and housing and this is basically the same thing except neater and much easier to install. Just slide the radio in and bend back a bunch of the tabs on the radios mounting frame and your golden, holds the radio in place like a custom made enclosure. Not even a wiggle, I was a little skeptical that this little plastic thing would hold it in place but it did the trick. Fits great in my 1997 bonneville.
