It was a perfect fit to my car. Even the color was similar to the original one.
Pros:
Perfect fit to the dashboard!
Cons:
I had to cut inside of it so that the receiver would stick out right at the edge.

I was a little doubtful when I received it. But everything fit perfectly. Radio was a perfect fit to the brackets. Everything lined up with no issues. I really did not like the silver, so I had it re painted black. Looks awesome.
Pros:
everything aligned perfectly.
Cons:
It should be available in different colors.

Plastic but sturdy. Assembles easily although I did have to remove the side brackets after assembling before the radio could be inserted due to some mounting pins on the head unit. Silver color is good match although does scratch kind of easily (my fault). Unit doesn't quite sit center but just off by a small fraction of an inch - you would only notice if you're looking for it and looking pretty closely. The upper corners are just big enough to attach a GPS suction cup - a nice plus if you're like me and don't like windshield mounting. Finally the storage pocket is a nice touch, the Mazda 6 is a little short on storage space and it makes a very convenient place to put your wallet and cell phone.
Pros:
Looks good, well built and a place to put your GPS.
Cons:
A little pricey but does the job.

Bought a Kenwood head unit from Crutchfield for our 2009 Mazda 6 and this was included in the kit. Initially I didn't think the radio would fit and had to call Crutchfield who explained that the radio doesn't slide through the opening, but rather butts up against it on the backside. Once I had that figured out installation was quick and easy. The silver color by my eyes appears to be a perfect match for the existing OEM silver paint on the interior. This also comes with a cubby hole below the radio, which turned out to be handy for storing our iPod connected to the radio. The unit is all plastic, whereas the OEM unit uses metal frame, so it doesn't feel as sturdy as the OEM cage, but so far I've had no problems, no rattles or creaks with it.
