Features
Overview: The Kicker iK501 is a digital stereo audio system
designed specifically for use with the Apple iPod or iPhone. It has a standard
iPod dock connector in the front, and a variety of dock adapters to fit select
iPod and iPhone models. Older non-dockable iPods and other music sources can be
connected to the system through a 3.5mm mini-jack auxiliary input. The iK501
plays your iPod music files over high-quality stereo speakers, driven by a
powerful stereo amplifier with digital signal processing.
Speaker System: The iK501 is equipped with two 2-way
speakers and a square passive radiator. It features dual 5" full-range Kicker
drivers, and 3/4" silk dome tweeters. On the back of the unit is a 6" square
passive radiator to add a punchy low frequency response.
Amplifier: The 2-way speakers are driven by a powerful 20
watts per channel stereo amplifier. Digital signal processing allows you to
adjust the audio to suit your tastes. You can independently adjust the bass and
treble from -9 to +9, using the front panel's sole rotary control or the
supplied remote control.
iPod Dock: The iK501 features an integrated dock and comes
supplied with five iPod dock adapter inserts. The iK501 supports audio playback,
remote control, and charging of select iPods and iPhones. The iK501 is "Made for
iPod/iPhone compatible" and supports the following iPod/iPhone model functions
(10/19/2012).
