Sony's BRAVIA® 3D-ready HDTVs can only deliver a 3D viewing experience if you're wearing Sony's 3D Active Glasses. Each eye sees a full 1080p image, just a slightly different version, which is what creates the 3D effect. These adjustable glasses are lighter than previous models and are designed to fit over prescription eyeglasses. The side panels block out excess light to provide an immersive 3D experience.

The TDG-BR250 features a super-fast USB-rechargeable battery. The fast-charging mode takes only three minutes and provides more than three hours of use. The 30-minute full-charging mode provides up to 30 hours of use. Warranty: 1 year.

Note: 2010 Sony 3D-ready TVs also require Sony's TMR-BR100 3D Emitter (sold separately). 2011 Sony 3D-ready TVs have the emitter built in.

Overview: The Sony TDG-BR250 3D Active Glasses give you the option to enjoy 3D (three-dimensional) pictures and graphics on your Sony Bravia 3D-ready HDTV. You can enjoy an immersive, realistic movie and gaming experience in Full HD 1080p from your Sony Bravia 3D-ready HDTV using the Sony 3D Active Glasses and an HDMI connected 3D source; such as a Satellite Receiver, Blu-ray Disc Player, or PlayStation 3 gaming console (all sold separately).

TV Compatibility: The Sony TDG-BR250 3D active glasses are compatible with 2010-up Sony 3D-ready flat-panel televisions.

Note: Earlier 2010 Sony 3D-ready flat-panel televisions, also require Sony's 3D Emitter (158BR100, sold separately). 2011-up Sony 3D-ready TVs have the 3D emitter built-in.

IR Transmission: The Sony TDG-BR250 3D active glasses receive its 3D active signal from your compatible Sony TV's IR 3D emitter.

Auto Synchronization: The Sony TDG-BR250 3D active glasses automatically synchronize with Sony 3D-ready HDTVs.

HDTV Picture Quality: The Sony 3D active glasses provide excellent color accuracy and high contrast. You will enjoy 3D content without compromise to your HDTV's picture quality.

Side-Panels: The Sony 3D active glasses have side panels to block out excess light.

Rechargeable Battery: The Sony 3D active glasses operate off an integrated lithium-ion, rechargeable battery. The fast charging time takes only three minutes and provides more than three hours use, and the 30 minutes full charging lasts for approximately 30 hours. A 4' USB charging cable is included.

Auto Power Off: The Sony 3D active glasses will automatically power off after 5 minutes of no IR signal.

Recently purchaced EX720 55" 3D TV from crutchfield. Great buy, good quality picture, 3D good for the price. 3D glasses work good but a little dark. I'm very pleased with my TV & glasses. Thanks again Crutchfield for the great service. I have been a satisfied customer since 1998. All of my orders have come ontime or earlier. Tech service is excellant also. Thanks again Crutchfield.
