Removable 1" aluminum tweeters
This D663A 6-1/2" convertible speaker system features 1" aluminum dome tweeters that deliver shimmering highs, so you'll hear layers of juicy detail in your favorite tunes. Detachable tweeters give you installation flexibility — you can drop this convertible system into your doors as a factory replacement, or mount the tweeters separately to create a custom soundstage.

Lightweight anodized aluminum woofer
Diamond Audio uses an anodized aluminum to craft a woofer cone that's rigid and extremely lightweight, so this woofer works accurately and efficiently, for powerful performance. This aluminum cone also helps direct damaging heat outward and upward, away from the voice coil and motor structure.
Non-resonant frame and versatile crossover network
Diamond uses a unique energy-absorbent ABS composite frame that resists unwanted resonance better than steel or aluminum, so your favorite music sounds just as the artist intended. The outboard crossover networks also give you plenty of installation flexibility, including the ability to adjust phase and attenuation. You'll also find Diamond Audio's unique "Rear Acoustic Fill" feature — a set of outputs on each network that allows you to power an extra set of rear speakers safely.
