Good balance with subs

Running them with a sub. So only use them for mids and highs with out amp. They sound great.

I purchased these for my sons Honda Civic. Extremely easy to install. The Free wiring adapter saved some time and made installation even easier. The sound is very good for the price.

Got 4 of these for my mk4 jetta, since I have the non monsoon speakers the provided adapters where a bit useless. I wanted to keep the factory cross overs so cut them out of the old speakers attached the speaker wires to the old harness at the ground and primary input and good to go.

Pros:

price decent sound 3 way speakers

Cons:

could use more lows

Needed to replace factory speakers due to one of them was blown. New speakers are crisp and clear. If you want deep bass these will disappoint, but mostly because of factory stereo. Easy installation and instructions were fabulous.

Great replace for the origional door speakers in the wife's '97 Miata. With the supplied adapters and the spuulied wiring adapters this was a snap! The sound quality is good.

Pros:

Product is as promised. Shipped well. All the necessary adapters for the make and model were supplied.

All-around great speaker...Great highs and mids...if you are looking for a speaker with big thumps this is not the one for you. However the have the right amount of bass for a front door speaker. Crisp and clear sound make this a great buy!

Theses speakers sound clear & good, BUT flat.. They have no bass what so ever... I do know that a 6.5 speaker is not going to put out much... But I wanted something more.. I ordered some Sound Ordance (SO) for the same price & installed them and WOW what a difference... So needless to say these was sent back for a fast and easy refund.. Love You Guys @ Crutchfield......

FLAT & no bass at ALL!

Please don't waste your money! Kenwood should be ashamed to make a product that can't even outperform a 10 year old factory speaker system.

Budget speakers. Terrible bass and not that great mids. Factory speakers were better overall, but needed something cheaper since 3 of 4 of my factory speakers were blown.

The Speakers sounds pretty good for the money.I was torn by Sony MTX and Kenwood. After looking at the specs Kenwood pretty much match everyone and beat them by the cost.

Pros:

The speakers fit perfectly speacially with the all the free parts that Crutchfield included. You can't beat free!

Cons:

It took a little time to get here specially when your current speakers had a tear and it sounded horrible when playing music with bass.
