Silk tweeter delivers smooth highs

The C2-350X 3-1/2" speakers feature rugged polypropylene cones that can handle plenty of power without distortion, so you get full-bodied tones. The 3/4" silk dome tweeters serve up smooth-sounding high frequencies that won't tax your ears, adding a satisfying dose of realism to your soundstage. Built-in crossovers ensure that the tweeters and woofers reproduce only the frequencies that they were designed to handle, so your tunes play smoothly across the whole musical spectrum. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are appropriate for most installations.

Features

Woofers: The JL Audio Evolution C2-350x coaxial speakers feature a 3.5" injection-molded, mica-filled polypropylene cone woofer with a polyether foam surround. The woofer features a 0.75" voice coil on a Kapton Former, a symmetrical roll spider and a Ferrite magnet. These carefully engineered cones deliver the right combination of stiffness, damping, and off-axis response. The speaker also provides adequate bass, thanks to its ample mechanical clearance, optimized suspension and balanced motor design.

Tweeters: The Evolution C2-350x coaxial speakers feature a 0.75" silk dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter with a damping neodymium magnet. The well-designed, edge-driven silk dome tweeter is smooth, detailed (on or off axis), and provides great overall performance. Silk is lightweight and great for high frequency extension and efficiency. It is also designed for durability in the extreme automotive environment.

Great for what it is...

With proper crossover points and being smart enough to know this wont play low you will be impressed... I have the mid crossed at 215 with a 12db slope in the pillars- I cut the cap on the tweeter and am running them active on axis... A bump on everything 8k and up was needed for sparkle or shimmer.

Bottom line with a real Midbass for the price it's a win.

Pros:

Clean uncolored tonally

Cons:

Even with a high crossover point they don't get all that loud- loud enough for most but I'm a fan of 120+db sprints. Going to try to bump the the crossover for daily use.

I give it 3 stars because it is loud but not crisp and clean like every other review, which is a big reason i went with these the right blew after 3 days...i just got the infinity 3002 hope they are better

Best one on the market!!

Replaced the stock 3.5" in my 2012 Tundra. The SQ is amazing compared to stock and will compliment any system. Well worth the $$.

Pros:

Crisp highs and extre,ely clear output.

Cons:

None.

Just installed these in my 2010 Mazda CX-9 GT. They installed in about 30 minutes, and the quality is much better compared to the stock six speaker stereo dash speakers with much more refined and detailed highs. I noticed after extended listening less fatigue compared to the stock set. I Highly recommend these as a quick, easy, quality, set of replacement dash speakers.

I put these in the dash on my 1st gen Scion XB. What a difference. Completely transformed the sound in my car. Brighter, richer, fuller sound.

JL C2 350

These are great sounding for 3 1/2" speakers. The magnet is huge compared to the stock 3 1/2"s in my 2007 Grand Cherokee. It says they don't fit in my car but I installed them anyway and the only thing is they push a little on the grill but other than that they fit fine. Overall great speakers if you are looking to replace factory ones.
